The Chargers actually did jettison a rookie Welker. Dolphins then groomed him and then traded him to the Patriots for a 2nd round pick.

Imagine being able to actually trade a player for once because we have actual depth and talent at positions...

When was the last time we got even a 3rd round draft pick for a player we traded away?
