Leary to have MRI on knee, Needs Scoped out 2-6 weeks

That's exactly what the reports were during the draft; hence, why he wasn't drafted. He was thought to be a second or third round pick if his knee was sound.

Not exactly. Reports were that they didn't know. It could be 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, or never.

Well, can you calculate an average?

Scouts believed that Leary wouldn't be able to play long, if at all.

I hope it's just a check up. I wish they would actually give us details on why he sat out and what he is experiencing to lead them to have the MRI. All we get is sat out of practice getting MRI

They always go to the bother of an MRI to check things up.

Nervous
nellies

let's take the wait and see approach....geez....

Why are you guys worried? According to JJ and the rest of the brass at VR, we are set at OL. We proved that by doing NOTHING during the last 7 months to get better in the trenches. If he is out, it proves he's even dumber than we already knew he was!!!!

Lets see, no Leary, Berny or Livings.....Arkin and Waters are sounding a lot better than before?

What in the heck are you rambling about? We did nothing in the last 7 months to get better?

Did we not draft an OL'man in the first round?

Also, how would one of our OL'man getting injured make Jerry "dumber" for saying he felt good about the players we had on the OL?

If there's something negative to ramble on about... That poster will find it.

Leary seems to think he will practice Thursday, not going to be worried until the MRI says there is something to worry about.

might as well start scouring the streets for backups/eventual starters

He has OD which IMO is a form of traumatic ischemic necrosis. The fact he's this mobile and has had the diagnosis this long means it's not too bad although that's not predictive of his having no problems with it. My guess is they want to rest him some and the MR is just part of the observation process for his problem. That should be a little comforting to all but it by no means should be interpreted as the all clear bell.

EDIT: I see the MR is scheduled for the other knee and he says he's going to practice Thursday. He had prior surgery on the left knee to repair a torn meniscus.
