Leary to have MRI on knee, Needs Scoped out 2-6 weeks

Looks like he may miss the first game.

I've tried to be upbeat but our oline is a mess. No oline no offense no matter how many skill guys you have. Leary was looking really good. This sucks

Scope it is. Waters time. At least try the man out. Good grief!

But 4/5 of our OL was drafted, so we'll be okay.

Hopefully Livings comes back. He's serviceable at LG. Hopefully Leary can come back within the first 1-4 games of the season. Man, this sucks. Imagine if we didn't get Frederick. We'd be royally screwed.

I'd rather sign Waters, cut Livings and keep Bernadeau as a starter until Leary gets healthy.

I hope they don't put Fred at Guard because of this. It would be a terrible mistake.

Well thats good to hear, hard to turn over the line so quickly yet we are giving it a try. Hopefully Leary is ok cause that really young left side is looking good so far.

I just have to ask...

...is Broaddus ever right about anything?

Berny and Livings need to step up otherwise Costa and Arkin just became starters.

With Greenbay and others scouring the wire for Olinemen Waters may be the only legit shot Jerruh has.

Ah, so apparently the incremental approach to fixing a disastrous OL has its drawbacks,,,

Well,

Good news: It's NOT the knee that had been giving him problems.
Bad news: He's likely out the NYG game (which we really need to win). I guess this means Waters can name his price....

Ditto on that. They're going to have to do some juggling and hard decision making, deciding how to deal with a maybe-soon-to-be-healthy Livings, a now-a-few-weeks-away Leary, a healthy-as-a-horse-but-not-so-strong Arkin, a who-the-heck-knows-when-or-if-or-how-good Kowalski, a maybe-signing-but-not-sure-when-he-shakes-the-rust-off Waters, a he-can-play-guard-but-please-put-him-at-center Frederick, a he's-now-our-only-stability Bernardeau, and a final cutdown date in late August. Oy.

Paging Mr. Waters. Step on up and sign on the dotted line your presence is needed buddy.

Are y'all really surprised that we are still having OL problems?

I guess he needs a new crystal ball. Seriously, he was right about it being the other leg and not the one with the bone problem. Mediots got that wrong.

I'm not, since this is the NFL we are talking about, and injuries have been known to happen in the NFL.

They have an offer on the table. It's up to him at this point. I suspect he'll sign, but it won't be until toward the end of camp if he does.
