Eli Manning

I think it might be the TWO Championships he has that makes him "elite".
He's a lucky QB who slung his way to 2 superbowls wins. Remember the helmet catch? If that was intercepted that would be one of the most boneheaded plays on SB History. Not to mention Asante Samuel should of picked him off.

When his 10-6 team beats our 13-3 team, you can't really make excuses.

You mean that 2 lucky throws and an incredible defense gave him. Mmkay.

That's find and dandy but i'll take ONE lucky championship let alone 2. There isn't a asteriks next to Eli's name about how "lucky" he may or may not have been.

You can argue that Flacco's ring last year was lucky as well as Aaron Rodgers if we want to talk about "luck". You need luck to win a ring in this league.

Yeah, screw the SB wins and MVP awards...the first 7 passes of the 3rd preseason game in a QB's 10th season are THE passes we should use to define his career!

Err. I thought I was posting on a Cowboys message board, not a Giants one.

Thought it would be okay to pick on a rival teams quarterback for looking like crap.

Sorry, y'all.

Luckiest is right. This guy road the tails of a defense that gave up 13 pts a game in one playoff run, and another that gave up something like 15.3 a game (numbers are off the top of my head). 80% of the qbs in this league would win with a defense that was as good as theirs during the playoffs.

But what has he done since?

WHo cares? What have we done in two decades? What player on this team has more than 2 playoff wins, or any super bowls rings for that matter?
