Sterling Moore Cut!

Absolutely no reason to keep McCray and cut Sterling. I'm enraged right now. Adrian Hamilton x10
 
Brad said last week Webb had passed him and he was battling pellerin.

I guess pellerin won.
 
wonder if he's another one they might hope makes it through waivers to pick up week two due to guaranteed money?

does this mean Pellerin made it?

I would think that's exactly what it means. It wouldn't have been my choice though.

he's only a 3rd year player so thats not the reason. i think they like the upside of pellerin more is the only reason i could see

I didn't think Sterling looked all that great during the exhibition games.

Also the team could resign him after week 1.

Keep in mind the team isn't looking at a final 53 but more like 51 because they probably want to add a couple more who aren't on the roster.

He looked great in real games last year though, I'm really shocked, I thought he was guaranteed a roster spot, especially because of versatility.

Moore hasn't done anything at all in the preseason. Not surprising
 
He's a JAG....another player this board always overrated.

Does make us thin at CB though, but if the guy is no better than someone we can pick up off the couch why not cut him.
