People are concerned about the 5th corner, because ultimately they know said corner will get significant playing time at some point, and we'd rather not have total liabilities out there when the time comes.

Seeing as how we have only 4 CBs on the roster, I wouldn't be surprised if we included Moore on our practice squad, in the event he clears waivers. Other than that, we probably have a safety or two in tow who are capable of serving at cornerback in a pinch. I wouldn't be surprised if we acquire one off the waiver wire soon as well.

Same here. This was the one real head-scratcher amongst the cuts. I thought he was pretty good and guys like him (with position flexibility) are supposedly valuable. We have a couple of purely special teams guys on the roster (McCray and Jones) and we cut a CB that can actually play his position pretty well. So much for the whole "you can never have too many corners" saying. I like our top 4 corners but Moore seemed like an ideal 5th CB who could play safety (where we are thin) in a pinch. This was the most disappointing cut IMO.
