Romo needs to be tamed not free to run the offense and change the calls
For all the talk of hurring the offense and being ready with 20 sec on the play clock we sure suck at that
From the little bit of play that Waters was in on he looked good to me.....didn't notice Berny good or bad
Claiborne got hosed on the PA call
Murray does run to darkness........way too much running with his head down
Romo looked horrible with the game on the line......throwing 3 straight 2 yard out patterns, 1 that was picked, next one was almost picked, not sure *** he is thinking at the end of the games but he looked like crap late
Whats with the shotgun pass crap at 1st and goal from the 5.......reminded me of the Jets game again.....that single play WAS the 4 point difference in the game
Durant while solid, looks slow........I would rather see Holloman get reps especial on passing downs, and when rushing the passer
Romo needs to look past Witten when things get rough
Terrance Williams looked a lot better than last week
Dez is a beast, just had a bad drop at a bad time.......but for every one drop he catches three passes he shouldn't have
Will Allen is steady.........but that's it, steady......Hope Wilcox can contribute soon
McCray earned his pay on special teams
Frederick was anointed a probowler by many fans around here but just tap the breaks a little......he got beat a couple of times by quick moves
Hanna needs to get past the first man when he has one on one in semi open field
Lack of 4 man pass rush continues to haunt this team.......especially lack of push in the middle
Barry Church was worth the deal.......for once, good move Jerry
Free looked pretty good
Just like the past 2 years or so once we get moving forward we move backward with a sack, false start, holding, delay of game, ect..........so annoying
Defense was very solid for lack of pass rush, just not a big fan of zoning the middle of the field open
Ever since Romo threw that pick 6 opening night years back we have been way to cautious when it comes to going for late half points........Why not throw a bomb at half time at midfield? Instead Garrett sits on it

About the only part I am not sure I agree with. I think Romo has been tamed too much and asked to be a bus driver. The gunslinger is all but gone from him it seems.

I don't know if he has been told to dial it down and be conservative or he has no idea what to do when he audibles. Something is a miss here and I can not pinpoint it, but Romo is not Romo this season.

It does seem Romo is being very cautious with the ball. Would rather take throws short of the first down than risk the tight squeeze.

So true. He looks scared at times. We need him to step up. The pass blocking is improved and he needs to take advantage of it.

Let me simplify it for you
There are 2 problems with this team

1. Jones
2. Garrett

Our GM has no idea how to evaluate talent or vision for success
Our HC has no idea how to coach and develop a game plan

Otherwise we're good

He looks like he is processing far too much information and thinking too much to me. They don't need to take away all his freedom but they need to scale it back a lot. He is handcuffing himself and the offense. He has never been a great pre-snap diagnoser. Scale it back, read the D. Make the throw. He missed a ton of open check downs today and on the final couple drives he was just down right awful.

I am sick and tired of this lame offensive philosophy of a lack of urgency, passive, no attacking, letting the defense dictate to us what we will do. Add to that the lack of preparedness and drive killing penalties. This head coach needs to go.

What made Romo successful was his gunslinger mentality. Its no longer there and he's just another pocket passer. I thank Garrett for that! What they need to do is open it up for Romo. Move him out of the pocket like Green Bay does with Rogers. Use play action and for God sake why did we ever abandon the delay draw, which was our best running play a few years ago?

Busdriver? That would imply that we are running the ball to a fault which is not the case. Romo threw 49 passes last week and 42 today.

AGREE with everything....

Busdriver as in "do as I say and when" not "you are free to air it out" or "you can only audible to this", etc. There is no other word coming to me to describe it ATM but he appears to be handcuffed, or injured, dunno.

I think a big problem is the receivers aren't getting open, so he throws it Dez because it doesn't matter so much if he is open - he'll just go get it. We need badly to establish a 3rd receiver that other teams have to take seriously. You know, like Laurent Robinson.

Another big problem is the playbook. Are there options in there to allow receivers to actually get open? Maybe some play-action, crossing routes, posts, many other options should be available. That falls on the offensive geniuses on the payroll.

I can almost all but guarantee that 90% of the other NFL teams would know how to utilize Dez, Austin and Witten. We have three legitimate threats that somehow this team only knows how to incorporate one into their gameplans.

Can you imagine NE with our weapons?

Its crazy when you think of how much talent we have on offense to have scored 3 offensive tds in 2 games... When many teams scored more with less....Theres a problem.. And I dont think it's all on the players...

Receivers know how to get open. The playbook doesn't allow them to though. If the playbook makes it so that you run your routes without any double moves or fakes then its easily defended. Thats the problem with the playbook. We have talented players but the playbook is holding us back.

When I say tamed, I mean I don't think he should be allowed to completely change the entire play, edit individual routes, and make so many changes to a play. When I say this, I don't mean on a 3rd down play or if he sees a big blitz coming, I just mean on an average 2nd and 4 or so he audibles out of a run, into shotgun, and gets the play off with 1 second and is usually checking down to his bff Witten. That's what Im talking about.
