More likely to be fired, Mack Brown or Ron Washington?

Wash has been posting on twitter lately about being fearful about job security and Mack has been getting a lot of pressure for Texas not being very good the last 3 seasons. There is also a lot of outcry for Mack to be out. So my question to you is who do you think will be canned first? Make your choice and give an explanation.

Wash, because Mack brown has an astounding amount of support from the AD and boosters. He deserves to be fired more, though.

Texas will at worst finish in the playoff hunt and with a winning record.

UT could easily finish .500 and not make a bowl game. They are no threat at all to win the Big 12.

They have 4 more games versus top 25 teams plus a road game at TCU (which will probably end up top 25).

I believe Mack is gone at the end of the season. I don't think UT wants to make a move until it has a replacement lined up though.
Someone who can keep the recruiting class together or even bolster it.

As long as DeLoss is there as AD then they'll call the shots together. If DeLoss retires then I can see Mack retiring. We can word it however we want but if Mack leaves, he won't be "fired."

I agree. They'll give him an easy out. Persuade him to retire with a big fat check.

I'm not quite sure what the Rangers do. They are getting into this nasty habit of failing at the end of seasons. Something wrong there.
