Mo Claiborne is a liability

LOL, I assumed this was a bump from a few weeks ago....guess that's what I get for assuming.

And how many receptions and yards did he give up? He played well. I have no idea what game you were watching.

Carr covered their best receiver. Scandrick I'm guessing their 2nd best. Claiborne, ok, he covered the 3rd receiver. He didn't get burned, so it's a good night.

Or maybe the Commanders recievers aren't exactly elusive.

Whether they are elusive or not the job was to cover them and he did. He can only cover the guy he's assigned.
Ignoring that is rather silly. Same as it would be to ignore how he was badly beaten other weeks.

I'm not saying he was horrible. Got beat a few times, blew the tackle early in the game. I understand cbs get beat it's the nature of the position. He keeps fighting and will come thru this just fine.
What plays did he "blow?"

Yup, Church has had a very solid year as a first-time starter but he'll want to forget tonight. Green abused him and those 2 penalties were straight Benny Hill.

He was awful against the Broncos and awful against the Chargers. He's an enormous liability. We just don't have anybody better. It makes me wish that Matt Johnson didn't get injured.

average? He played great. The only things I saw was the weak tackle attempt and when his guy caught the ball on 3rd down for a 1st. Other than that, he's had some nice knockdowns and him and Carr did an excellent job keeping RG3 from having anywhere to throw.

He was no worse against the Broncos then anyone else and came away with a pick in the only way we were ever stopping a series.

Sean Lee was complete garbage last week; does that mean we should cut him too?

Again with Mo arrow is ticking up and that's all you can hope for at this point.
Long, long way form justifying a his lofty draft status but also a guy 30 teams would love to have on the roster as a 3rd CB with ginormous upside.

Lots of folks said Pat Peterson sucked as a rookie. By this point in his 2nd year it was he sucks except he can return kicks... now it is he's All-Pro and I worship him....

After the last two games, there is absolutely no reason Scandrick should be starting over Mo. Scandrick had one of his best games as a pro tonight, minus a couple plays, and still wasn't nearly as effective as Mo. Leave these guys in man-press and put Oscan back in the slot where he excels.

Also, to the Scan fans, don't you want to see him on some more of this corner blitzes from the slot? He is a damn good blitzer for a CB. I would love a DT stunt while funneling Carter up the middle on a delay with OScan coming from the outside... Then again, I like to be a little progressive and creative. Something we aren't seeing much of on this team.

I said it before and I will say it again, the whole reason Allen was brought in was for veteran leadership because our safeties have no idea how to get themselves lined up. Church has been awful the last two weeks but Wilcox has been even worse. Both of these guys have the potential to be very good, but not in the same backfield together and after a decent amount of grooming. In the offseason we are going to have to choose one and commit and then get another cover safety with a head for the game.

Why in the hell are we calling out anybody tonight? We just beat the Commanders and are tied for first in the division. Cant you people enjoy a win for one night and save your whining for when we lose?

You're not much of a realist, as your sig would lead us to believe...

I'm starting to think Church is a great 3rd Safety but only an OK starting safety. I picked Wilcox to be the player of the game thinking he would make big plays. He didn't but is holding his own this year and looks to be very good next year, but I'm really starting to wonder about Church.

More man coverage= more mo! Best game he had in his career IMO

You may need to go back and watch the coaches tape. Wilcox was atrocious and was out of position just about the entire game. Luckily our "no name" (thanks Collinsworth) patchwork defensive line was pretty damn relentless.

I still believe that pass rush is more important than coverage and nothing that has happened thus far in '13 has changed that,
