I grew up with Clint Stoerner when we were 14 the guy could chunck the crap out the ball.
 
Knew C Waters and his brother. Played ball against him. His Mom and mine were good friends when we lived near them.
 
Went to school with our current special teams coach... He was a great football mind / player back then... One of my close friends is married to his sister Michelle.. Great guy , great passion and all around solid nose for the game guy
 
I was a 3 year old living in a duplex at Carswell AFB, Fort Worth TX. Mike Clark's brother lived on the other side of the duplex. Mike came over one day, played with me and evidently fired my toy cannon (it made smoke, I'm told). I have no recollection of these events, but Dad claims he has it all on camera.
 
Not a Cowboy, but I went to school with Phil Dawson, kicker for 49ers. Played soccer with him too.

I have met several Cowboys players...met Witten at Six Flags last year and my son rode some rides with his boys.
 
I'm pretty good friends with a former cowboy's wife and family. Haven't met him, tho, because in most cases he's out of town working in the front office for another NFL team.


And one of my old classmates has a son by another former Cowboy player.

Mike Saxon used to workout at the same gym as my Dad and I. Nice guy.
 
Family knew Danny White, went to the same high school, but much latter I'm not that old lol
 
Met Doug Dennison at the state fair a couple of decades ago, leg was in a cast ended a promising career, still had time to talk as I did not even tell him that I knew who he was and he did not mention it either.

I got to meet him at one of the HOF functions the year he was inducted ... yeah, I had to make the trip for #88! I cried like a baby during his speech.
