Have you ever known a Dallas Cowboy

Ok you have me curious now...who are these players? If you'd rather not I understand :)

Well, one is Aaron Glenn. I just know his family. I haven't officially met him. But from all accounts, he's a cool guy.

The other wasn't well liked, so I'd rather not say.

My aunt was/is real close(just friends) to Bill Bates, so I casually call him my uncle. Those roots go back to Tennessee where they are from. It is funny how they both ended up living in Dallas for different reasons. Went to many a BBQ with him and even had Thanksgiving desert at his condo post-game, think it was back in 1988.

Four years ago, I got to caddy/walk with Emmitt, Rice and Flutie at the Shriners/J. Timberlake golf tournament. Mostly small talk with the ex-players but I flirted with Flutie's daughter Alexa the whole time, drop dead gorgeous. I think she was maybe 19 or 20 at the time :D

I got to meet him at one of the HOF functions the year he was inducted ... yeah, I had to make the trip for #88! I cried like a baby during his speech.

I was a bigger baby during Emmit's. I had to leave the bar I was in and finish it in my car. Lol. Man card was revoked by my wife.

Sam Hurd ...

Tom Landry and Roger Staubach raised me from 4-11 years old.....on KPLT 1080 and KTVT 11.

One of my relatives married one of Randy White's family member a long time ago. He was at the wedding.

I've known several NFL players and have played with and against. Lost a friend who played for the Raiders/Rams

RIP Chuck

Iv'e met several. I try and go to a game every year with a Cowboys travel agency. 99% of the guys are awesome.

Not anyone big but Brian McCann, most known for the punt return for 99 yards against the Lions in 2010. He is the boyfriend of the friend of my best friend. We had some drinks with them at a bar in Plano a few months back.

Met many. Got to interview TL and talked
more about flying and his then 182 than football. Partied with Randy White he once dated a friend on mine.

I didn't "know" former RB Michael Wiley.

But I grew up like 7 houses down the street from him. I visited his house one day (he was a rookie at the time) and he was a really nice dude. He invited me into his living room and we chopped it up for a little bit (I was a middle schooler in awe), and he gave me some autographed cards. Cool experience.

I used to be pretty cool with Woodrow Dantzler, went to school together.
