I wonder what he means by personal vendetta.

Our former players always have something to say about the cowboys.

I wanna see him and dez go at it. Jenkins was pretty hyped up in preseason when we faced them. He had a good hit on Dez in that game. First good hit I've seen him have.

Jenkins is one of the more oddly romanticized Cowboys. He was bad in 2012, up and down in 2011, trash in 2010, very solid in 2009 and blah his rookie season. And I think in his mind he thinks every year was 2009 and he was somehow wronged by the organization.

At least from the outside I feel like he didn't get treated too well based on his last year here - by fans or the organization. He gutted it out pretty hard with a jacked up shoulder and easily could have packed it in, but played the whole year with one shoulder and gave it his all. People just like to hang on to those times he DID just watch guys run buy him his rookie year.

With our proven ability to not be able to develop CBs (Scandrick?...who else) I do think he got a raw deal because it looked like he learned his lessons and was trying to be a better teammate. my 2 cents.

I don't understand what he's trying to say in the second quote. Probably b/c there is no context.

Yea that 2nd quote......to go from that type of comment about Romo to talking about a personal vendetta? I guess I have to hear or get a understanding of what he means by that and by who. We drafted Claiborne but that job was Jenkins to lose that year. I liked Jenkins but he was hurt soon as we drafted Claiborne. Instead of rising to the challenge he sulked. There's no doubt in my mind Jenkins can play corner in this league though.

Any vendetta was probably coming from Jenkins toward the cowboys. He was probably upset the Cowboys didn't renegotiate a big contract. IIRC, he was rehabbing his shoulder away from the team the final year. Jenkins and Ratliff were probably poison to this team. Their bad attitudes were driving a wedge into the team. Both are gone and doing pretty much nothing in the league now. Jenkins got a minimal contract from Oakland because no one else wanted him. And he will get somewhere close to the vet min next year. I'm sure he is still bitter about the cowboys getting Carr and drafting Claiborne and signing Scandrick long term. He sure played bitter during the preseason game against the cowboys. He actually made a hit on a WR. Don't expect any business decisions from Jenkins this game.

Wow, what is the world coming to?

First our divisional rival's speak out how Romo's a great QB, now an ex-Cowboy with a "personal vendetta" says he's "1 of the best quarterbacks in the league." I must be going crazy, because I don't think I'm reading these comments correctly.

Interesting stuff about the "personal vendetta" comment though, any Idea what he's talking about?

I would guess it is a combination of things from hearing about the "business" decision to drafting Mo and signing Carr. That essentially nailed his coffin and he resented it, just guessing though.

Ah i see...well this is great for us. He is to rough, and still a good cover corner, who plays the ball well.

Well i've seen 3rd and 4th stringers not be attacked by us so I wouldn't say we're off the hook but yea it sure does have to benefit us not having Jenkins out there. But there's always that hungry backup that's waiting for his shot. We've seen a lot of them on our defensive line this year lol.

He lost favor from the Cowboys because he did not want to rehab at Valley Ranch. IMO

He wanted to be in Florida and not with the team.

Do people forget how crappy this guy was? He was Mo, basically.

Most of us took his "business decision" as an act of cowardice in the face of the enemy. And that is simply something that may be forgiven, but will never be forgotten.

False, Mo has not done anything close to what Jenkins did in Dallas yet. Claiborne should be a lot better by now and he seems to be regressing.
