With Eagles thrashing the Lions yesterday this becomes a must-win, IMO. I have faith in my 'boys, but let's be honest, were facing Rodgers in a must-win game for the Pack next week and that scares the hell out of me.

Philly goes into Min. next week; host the Bears the following week, I think both games favor Philly.

I'm hoping we split (worst case; fingers crossed) the next 2 weeks and beat Wash and keep our destiny in our own hands.

Hoping Foles comes back to earth in one of these games and we lock up everything before week 17.

I think it is a very important game as all games are from here on out. I don't see this as do or die but I do think this game and all others are critical games I hope that is the mindset of this team.

a win tonight all but ensures that we are at least still alive going into week 17...so thats the other side of this thing

this of course is all assuming we can beat the skins....

we should beat the skins circus meaning we would only need one of the next 2 to control our own destiny in week 17. would prefer to win out but i dont think this team is capable of 6 straight wins regardless of competition

It's not really a must win game. The Cowboys would still control their own destiny with a loss tonight.

True statement!

Hate to sound so negative, but we face Aaron Rodgers next week.

Does anyone see any reason this wont be like the last two seasons with a win and your in loss in week 17?

Im sorry I hope I eat crow but im not fooled by eeked out wins over minny and oakland. This team just isnt good and a good team will expose it in short order.

We are getting sucked again. Flame away bros......

it kind of feels like it with Rodgers looming on sunday.

But I still am not confident that philly doesn't get beat by Chicago and Minnesota. That game in Minnesota is going to be really tough for philly.

like brad sham always says, must win means your season is over and there is no tomorrow if you lose so its not really a must win.

feels awful damn important though.

2 of the next 3 matters for week 17.

Considering the fact that I don't think we can beat GB with Rodgers, we would have to win this one.

I agree with this, but Chicago and green bay are no better than us. Washington could be a layup if shanahan is still there in two weeks.

the hardest game left is the philly game, but its here in Dallas and I think that means a ton.

Every game from here on out is a must win, regardless of what the eagles do.

They are must win to get this team's mindset and confidence up, and start a roll toward the play-offs.

Backing into a game where winner takes all after losing one or two games doesn't make sense.

The object is to win in the play-offs. Dallas has a disadvantage because of injuries and a defense as porous as a bathtub drain.

I still hold out hope they will find the groove and make some noise in the playoffs. But my rational mind says this is where the slide starts.

I tend to lean toward what I see versus what I want to happen. That pisses people off around here.

But if this team is going to make some noise, it starts tonight.

That makes this a pivotal game.

I wonder if the eagles lost yesterday if there wouldnt quite be the sense of urgency to win tonight.
I keep hoping we could treat that eagle game as a bye, dont see it though

I understand that but if they lose tonight and fall a game behind the Eagles people will say it's gut check time. There is no more margin for error. If the team wins out from there and takes the division the Packers game will be the one pointed at as pivotal. It started then not the Bears game.

Of course this is a big game but it is not a must win. Not when you still control your own destiny.

By no means is the Commanders a layup. They would love to screw everything up for us, it would make their season if they beat us week 16. I am almost more concerned about the Commanders then GB.

As much as I hate when people (not just forum people) say that this is a must win.. I actually have to agree. The eagles came back to win against Detroit and now currently lead the divison if we lose we will be a game behind and I don't want to have faith in the eagles losing . The boys need to match them with a win and take back the lead and let the eagles lose while we are in first not when we are second

Mens, take it from Gimme, the man with the plan and the acumens:

We can lose (but we won't) tonight and still be in the hunt for the NFC East. Minnisoda at home can upend the Eagles and so can the Bares.

I understand how tonight's game can loom large but not all the marble are in the game tonight.
Trust in gimme cause I will nevah let you downs.
Drinkk up, square dance at the half. Gimme is making beef ribs and salsa and tortillas for the second half. All is invited except Zrin unless his attitude improves and even then he will be axed a questionaire at the entrance.
WE WILL OWN YOU BARES TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not seen confirmation that Rodgers is playing ?

normally I would agree with you. That is going to be a stadium filled with cowboys fans with a bunch of Commanders players who cant wait to get away.

We should go up there and pound them.

I agree with what you are saying in a normal scenario though.

the pivotal game was the giants game.

now this group needs to find a way to finish the deal and get the east in the end.
