It´s actually not, of course it´s very important, but assuming the Eagles win their next two you still have to win your last 3 no matter what happens tonight and by the way I don´t believe Rodgers will play next week.

Just going by the people in the know. We both agree without medical clearance he will not play. My only disagreement is it matter if they are in the race or not. If GB was out of the running then I think Rodgers would be shut down for the season but being a game out and Rodgers at least being close and back at practice it would not come as a shock to see him playing this week or next.

I said the same thing last week. But really, until they are mathematically eliminated, there is no reason to put Rodgers on IR. So even if the Packers had lost and the Lions had won, would that have changed anything? Yes, the Packers' chances of making the playoffs would have been significantly reduced, but they wouldn't have been eliminated. So what purpose does putting Rodgers on IR serve?

Even if rodgers isnt cleared the gb game is by no means an easy game for dallas. I could see them still losing.

No way we lose to GB without AR, I understand the "any given Sunday theory" but if we do lose that game with Flynn starting we don´t deserve to be in the playoffs anyway.

No. We can lose 1 game and we will win the division no matter what...assuming the eagles win their next two and as long as we don't lose to Philly

I know that everyone is having nightmares of what Brees and Manning did to our defense, but at the same time Green Bay may have a worse defense than we do. We should be able to match score for score with them even if Rodgers plays.

Hence the “no matter what happens tonight” part of my previous post, which meant we lost tonight, I of course was replying to a previous post that it´s a must win game, like you say we can lose one game and still win the división as long as that game isn´t vs the Eagles.

We could lose but I think we'd win. We already dont deserve to be in the playoffs imo. To have the other 3 teams start the way they did and basically hand us the division and us most likely still losing it is pathetic!!

It´s how you finish not how you start, Philly is playing good ball right now and actually so are we, if we end up 10-6 and out of the playoffs it´s because the division winner had 11 wins, that´s not bad.

Saying that, there should be no excuse for not winning the division this year and if we don´t I expect changes in the offseason.

With Eagles thrashing the Lions yesterday this becomes a must-win, IMO. I have faith in my 'boys, but let's be honest, were facing Rodgers in a must-win game for the Pack next week and that scares the hell out of me.

Philly goes into Min. next week; host the Bears the following week, I think both games favor Philly.

I'm hoping we split (worst case; fingers crossed) the next 2 weeks and beat Wash and keep our destiny in our own hands.

Hoping Foles comes back to earth in one of these games and we lock up everything before week 17.

It will be tough but they can do it.

What I fear most is not controlling the ball and not keeping their offense on the bench.

Do that..wear down their injured defense and we can fly back to Dallas with a win.

Please..no losses on National TV again.

Why don't you think Rodgers will play? It's close.

I agree. Just what are the odds that those 3 teams ever starting off like that again!? And we still couldnt capitalize on anything but thats normal cowboys.

Just an opinión, he didn´t get medically cleared last Wednesday, it´s tough to think he will this week, he hasn´t taken any first team reps and has had no contact, I have him in fantasy football so I´ve been reading a lot about him haha, most say he is probably done for the year. But anyway maybe it´s just wishfull thinking.

And they didn't even re-scan as previously stated...You don't comeback after 5-6 weeks with a broken collar bone, no way you can sustain a hit...

Mens, take it from Gimme, the man with the plan and the acumens:

We can lose (but we won't) tonight and still be in the hunt for the NFC East. Minnisoda at home can upend the Eagles and so can the Bares.

I understand how tonight's game can loom large but not all the marble are in the game tonight.
Trust in gimme cause I will nevah let you downs.
Drinkk up, square dance at the half. Gimme is making beef ribs and salsa and tortillas for the second half. All is invited except Zrin unless his attitude improves and even then he will be axed a questionaire at the entrance.
WE WILL OWN YOU BARES TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Philly runs the table which makes the last game of the season meaningless.

Huh? If Philly runs the table the last game of the season will have great meaning provided that we've lost 0 or 1 game up to that point. They'd be 10-5 and if we are either 10-5 or 9-6 we go into the game in a win and in situation.

Glazer said Sunday something about the way it broke makes the timetable for his return hard to estimate. They have to just wait and see how it heals.

From a purely mathematical perspective, tonight is not a must win.

But from an intangible perspective: building momentum, team confidence, winning in December, etc., tonight is a very important game.

It's not really a must win game. The Cowboys would still control their own destiny with a loss tonight.

Anytime the Cowboys are in control of their own destiny they manage to screw it up by getting off to a bad Dec start which eventually puts them in a must win situation.
