12DeMarco Murray, RBDAL1608435.3416776.6146

843 yards, 160 attempts 5.3 yards a carry.

He would need to gain something like 50 yards each game to break 1,000...something easily possible.
Let's hope our boy gets it!
I say we keep him, if he gets injured next year I want him gone..but I don't want to give up on a back who can do it all just yet[run well,(hitting holes A LOT better as of late) pass blocking, and catching]

In college he was injured allot but still managed to produce good numbers. Just gotta have someone good enough to help limit his touches and another quality lineman in front of him. I think they've managed to put together 3 games in a row now with over 100 yds rushing. (while we're puttin lipstick on this pig) He's having his best year so far with over 1100 yds from scrimmage already.

Good back. Can't stay healthy. After next year you spend a 3rd or later on his replacement. Rinse repeat.

Murray is a talent. Great playmaker that is highly highly underused. Top 5 back in the league when healthy.

A.P esque in the way that he plays. Just needs to stay healthy. We have a few players that are injury prone due to the styles they have.

He is a guy

He had a chance to go upfiled against the Bears and diddnt,

After he ran out of play like it wasnt important,

And if he did try to pick up those 3 meaningless yards you're all hard up for, and gotten hurt, you'd be killing him for that.

Pretty sure he ran for 7 yards a carry on Monday. But keep *****ing. I'm sure it helps your PMS.

Will be our first RB to have a 1000 yards since Julius Jones back in 2006 if I remember correctly......................talk about a drought.

I'm all in on this guy.

He reminds me more and more of Emmitt Smith with each game he can stay healthy in..

..he.s got a quick burst and a great cutback move..

..and what a stiff-arm..

..and he catches the ball.

Something Emmitt was always underrated at I thought..

comparisons to Emmitt and AP? ....interesting....

IMO, he is most effective when they can utilize him the right way...they need to have someone to spell him from time to time but that person has to be effective as well....health is the key to this guy and he hasn't been 100% healthy in forever....but, I like that he is our back as long as he isn't on the injury report...

Murray is above average.. But he is nothing special, and never will be IMO.

if the rams were in our division and we played an ice bowl each year he would most definitely get 1000 yards a year.

Pretty sure a JAG would have a hard time leading the league in YPC.
Troy Hambrick did it.

Murray is a much better back, of course.

The problem I have with Murray running out of bounds is not about the 3 yards. Its the overall approach to the game and setting the tone. He could go out of bounds, and the defense feels comfortable just forcing him to the sideline. Or, he could smash a safety or corner, pick up a couple more, and make them not want to tackle him the rest of the game. Running OB just makes the whole team look like a bunch of wimps.

And I hate the injury argument. Nobody even touched him this year when he got hurt, and your not as likely to get hurt when you deliver a blow.

This reminds me of the Andre Johnson/Miles Austin debates a few years ago.

Good times.

That's just sad and pathetic with how easy getting to a 1,000 yards is these days. Even Alfred Morris in that pitiful offense is already over 1,000 and may get to 1,500 after he plays Dallas.

DM is doing what many expected him to do. His position can always be upgraded, however, and if Dallas has the opportunity this April, they should do so.

Light heartedness gone.
