Game Day ***Cowboys vs Packers post game thread***

I think what you said is something that a lot of people are thinking. Trouble is, getting blown out the next two games doesnt necessarily mean a new head coach.

We just don't have a good future right now because Jerry gets to pick and then control the coach no matter how good that coach may be (I.e. Jerry is the coach). We haven't had a good coach since Parcells. Parcell got to make the decisions in a way that Jimmy Johnson did. Apparently, Jerry isn't going to let that happen again. So, getting rid of Garrett and company might help a little for a while. Expect our mediocre history to repeat itself.

Matthews said he felt like they won the Super Bowl.

Lol Clay! YOU BEAT THE COWBOYS!!!!

We all watch sports because we never know what we are going to see but this edition of the Cowboys is making it awfully difficult to watch this same movie over and over.

The game was lost when Dallas decided to pass on 2nd and 6 after Green Bay used their 2nd timeout at 2:58 in the 4th. This is the 2nd time now that the coaches have failed to run in situations where killing the clock is of the utmost importance. They did it against Detroit and the result was that Detroit got the ball back one last time when they shouldn't have and they did it here today and the result was a crippling turnover.

It's almost impossible to imagine that Garrett survives the offseason.

Is there ANY possible way to lose a game? Wasn't someone listening when Packers coach said at the start of the 2nd halve....."WE ARE GOING TO RUN LACY." And the FIRST play of the 3rd guess what? Lacy runs 60. I almost, for the first time, threw something at my flat screen.

It was mismanaged. And the defense folded and instead of them getting TOs it was the other way around. This defense right now needs TO to stay in the game. Our only hope is to get Lee, Selvie, Durant and Claiborne back.

One thing that hasn't been brought up beyond the last 2 INTs that Romo threw is that last TD to Dez had no business being thrown either and probably should have been a pick as well with not even a field goal to show for it...let's face it, when it is crunch time at the end of the season and Romo gets even a little pressure, this type of result happens with regularity. The come-from-behind 'improv' victories at the start of season after season don't really mean that much.

There's simply no excuse for abandoning our run game (which was working VERY well) in the second half with a 23 point lead. As I've stated earlier, that takes a special kind of stupid.

Thats our loser head coach for you.................................full of stupid.

I just didn't understand what they were doing in that situation. Just run the ball on 2nd and 3rd and make Green Bay use all of their timeouts. If we don't get it punt the ball away after the 2 minute warning and they have to go the length of the field for a TD with no timeouts.

Came back from Church, we were ahead by 19 when I left. What the heck?

Our loser head coach thought he was playing Madden and called 75 straight pass plays even though our Murray was getting 7 yards a pop............Romo audibled out of one and Garrett threw him under the bus.............that about sums it up.

Time to hang the cleats up old man............tired of watching you get owned on a weekly basis....................Demarcus where?

I'll always wonder what this team would have done without Jerry cramming TO into the team and pissing off Parcells. Wish Jerry would figure out that the best way to get media exposure is to WIN.
