Is Tony Romo uncoachable? And the QB we need after the Romo experiment/experience

Tony Romo is in his 30s.

Yet he is prone to, as he is being pursued, to thow the ball off of one foot.
And typically into double coverage. And, yes, mein eyes half seen him thow into triple coverage.

While his team is still ahead, the late-game clock cries out for running the ball and lactating the clock. Plus, our running back badly wants the ball. So our highly-paid, field commander keeps thowing.

Now, as underwhelming as our coaching staff is , I just know that coaches half counseled him to thow the ball while standing solidly on two feet. And for him to not make desperate thows. And for him at times to choose a mundane running play instead of going for the power and the glory that is a Romo pass.

But nooooooooo.

I am beginning to think that he is uncoachable.
He should have learned these basic concepts fresh out of college. Or in his 2nd year of being a Dallas Cowboy. Or his cousin Lyle should half told him.

Too late for him to change his ways. I can imagine that his quarterback coach can only shrug, knowing that Tony is the boss and Tony will do it his way, the glory way, from now until he retires as a backup to Blake Bortles, a young, coachable QB who will know when to thow to Dez and when to hand off the ball.

This may be accurate but keep in mind he will be finishing his 7th full season as a fulltime starter. ALL of these years he has been coached by Garrett. Perhaps that is why his game iQ is the same as Garretts. What could he have been if had all this time under Sean payton? Need a real coach. 7 years of on the job training for Garrett is way too many!

I think his mechanics are fine when he is not being rushed. In that play, he avoided the sack and obviously didn't set his feet. I think he is still coachable, but it takes the right coach. A coach that has a backbone. It would have been nice to see what Parcells would have done with him if he were still around....

This team can win with Romo slinging it but he needs a whole different offense to prove it. Garrett's scheme and Romo do not mix. One has to go and it will not be Tony, at least for two more seasons, maybe three.

Jerry's deal this past off-season all but guaranteed Romo will be here awhile. We have a better chance at winning with Romo and a new offensive system than we do with a new QB and Garrett's system IMO.

We need to be looking for qb of the future. But I would aim much higher than bordles. I like Brett hundley, Derek Carr, Zach mettenberger. Bordles would be like a 7th rounder. I want a blue chipper.

Coach Jones says the team must take chances to help overcome the bad Dallas defense. So, Tony is the right guy for this job. Coach Jones has reiterated on multiple occasions that he cannot think of anyone more perfect for the job than Tony Romo. Thats what Coach Jones says.

Two problem's with Romo that we all see are that he has a nack for throwing interceptions at the wrong time and throwing off is back foot. Most of us see it which leads me to believe the coaching staff and Romo both see it as well. The only question is does he himself know how to fix it? If not then yes I agree, he must go.

Romo has been transcending for years now. Do not blame Romo. I would say he is trying to do too much but considering the pathetic state of this team, that just isn't possible.
