can you tell me which game, any game, that we threw Kyle into to be ready for the moment , let me clarify this for you, so you understand, not if, but when Romo would get hurt? Can you name me one game where we did anything of signifigance to let Kyle be game day ready? Any moment? Do you think with the last game, nothing on the line, that hes going to be slinging it like his life is on the line? Do you think the eagles D will NOT hear of this important factor and wont cover the normal recievers, I got news for the guys drooling over T Williams, nothing spectacular. Escobar will bring nothing to the field. So whos left, Dez? You dont think the Eagles are going to cover him, you think they will let that one problem get out of hand?

I fully expect Orton to get the 5 yards, because i feel the Eagles wil cover who they have to, but i also feel Dallas knew this day was coming and covered their eyes, and ears to it, Not that kyle cant do it, but i dont think the eagles will elt him do it.

Thank you for the reply

The good news is.....at least Kyle has the week to prepare rather than coming into the game early.

One big reason I am not giddy, losing without Romo gives Jerry an excuse not to clean house and put us through another year of Garrett as HC. Dont like built in excuses and this is a big one.

I don't think so. 15 previous games are > than one game. Garrett has already made his bed and needs a win to get out of it. IMO, the circumstances remains the same....win and save your job or lose and seek the unemployment line.

Now, if Romo got injured mid-season, then there would be different circumstances. But, one game should not determine his final outcome if we lose.

sadly our D wont be a big help to him. He wont see our D in the game, which is why field experience is needed,

True, but there has to be a different gameplan installed for Orton. Lets hope it is different and better than what Romo gets. Remember, Kitna got different gameplans and it turned out ok.

They have a week to do just that and not on the fly during a game.

Lol, my faith is low right now and not sure we can even win. My point is it will not be because of our QB situation. They will come up with a plan of attack that best suits Kyle and it will be different than Romo's. This will show if our offensive coaches can really do their jobs, the table is set.

My worry is our defense holding them under 36. If they don't, it doesn't matter who is under center Sunday night.

They don't konw what to expect from Orton? He's not a rookie. LOL.

There's absolutely no reason to be giddy about a Romo injury. He gives this team the best chance to win. That being said, i'm excited for Orton and i'm confident in Orton. We pay him for this type of moment.

I'm interested in the X factor thst Orton is bringing to the table. He is changing the dynamics......the play calling, leadership, errrrything....

But my guess.......Cole knocks him senseless in the first half. Game over.

Thank you....................You are a smart NFL fan and know your football

all good points, i agree with the way you are taking this. and yes, the offense is the center come sunday. Who is out there and who came to play. The magic number is right as you said, 36, put it will come down to if the offense can move it sunday, If it cant, doesnt matter what the defense does,

Romo had pressure to win this game, Orton does not.

Do you understand my point?

No I just been watching the NFL long enough to know that the pressure is no longer on the Cowboys to win which is a good thing in a do or die game

The pressure is still on the 52 other players and coaches. This will be the last game for many of them in a Cowboy uniform.

I get your point, it should make them step-up, play loose and win one for the gipper but these guys were going to give it their all anyways, they have new contracts and auditions to play for.

Sorry, but the cold, hard truth is that Romo being out dramatically reduces our chance to win. Some people take for granted his ability to avoid the rush and extend play and to improvise. These skills, which Orton lacks, have kept us in games that we would not have been in otherwise. Orton's competent, but not great.

Neither coach wants to lose this, a lot of pressure is on the eagles, another year of not doing it, thats mounting whether we hear it or not. And for Garret, there will be and should be bloodshed
