IRVING, Texas -- Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamakong Suh took home the award as the NFL’s most feared player from an anonymous vote of his peers conducted by ESPN's NFL Nation. Dez Bryant is the Dallas Cowboys' most feared player. In the recent past, DeMarcus Ware would have received this nod with his double-digit sack seasons, consecutive Pro Bowls and unearthly athleticism. But 2013 was not kind to Ware, who was limited to a career-low six sacks because of numerous injuries.

Bittersweet.

Bryant is a top notch receiver and I like to see him get respect where respect is due, but a receiver should not be the most feared player on the team.

Should be your pass rusher. Or DT. Or big nasty mauling guard. Or maybe even your unstoppable QB.

Amazing isnt it. We have sucked for 20 years. The guy makes a mistake and walks off the field in an all time choke job game and people want to trade him. God forbid we finally have a player that a tough team like Baltimore or Sanfran would actually want on their team.

Hey, lets be fair here and give credit where credit is due. I have to believe Jerry's training program that he implemented for Garrett probably had a trickle down effect and has helped Dez become the player that he is.
 
Just think how much better he would be with a big time threat on the other side. Who would you double?
