Switzer said What?!

Well, being that he didn't actually coach him......Troy don't count.....o_O

What? It didn't mention anything about playing, only recruiting. Switzer recruited Aikman to OU where Troy did play in 1984 and 1985. Switzer was still the head football coach of the Sooners at that time.

Some old timers, at least in their own little minds want to stay relevant even tho they aren't. Switzer and Lacewell are 2 prime examples. They say "stuff" that gets some attention.

What's quoted in that article isnt any big deal IMO. So he mentioned the word "black," no big deal. As far as I know there has never been anything to indicate Barry had any issues with people of color. Was it kind of a stupid thing to say? Well, yea, but thats nothing new for Barry.

Nothing to see here really.

Where's the media outrage? If he said he'd never recruit a black QB they'd be all over this.

Ridiculous.

You missed it when it came out yesterday... on twitter.

I mean real media outrage.

For that to happen it would take a high profile RELVEVANT coach to admit something like that.

Not an old has been like Switzer.

you are correct sir... I stand corrected. I forgot he transferred to UCLA

some drunks are funny; most are just stupid

that is EXACTLY what I thought, "was he drunk?!"

only thing worse than the I wouldn't draft a white QB is the next line, "The only way I’d ever recruit a white quarterback to play for me was if his mom and daddy would have to both be black, and that’s the only way I would do it."

Wow
