Outside Seahawks stadium in my Cowboys gear

I'm in Seattle on business and I had the day free so I decided to bus down to the International District in downtown Seattle. Needless to say, I'm decked out in my Cowboys sweater and beanie. Well, I didn't know that CenturyLink Field was right here. So I'm sitting in a nice little whiskey bar right across from the stadium enjoying a snake bite (Guinness and Magner's Irish Cider) in a bar covered wall to wall in #12 propaganda. No wonder why I kept getting looks when I was walking here.

Don't take this the wrong way cause I'm glad your flyin our colors but I'm not sure what you mean when you say "sweater and beanie" and I think I might hassle a fan of another team wearing that. YYC

Wearing Cowboys gear in front of the Seahawks stadium is cute, .. like a chihuahua barking in front of the Great Dane kennel.

Think about it, ... they have the newest Lombardi trophy there, and we haven't done anything in almost two decades.

I mean, I love the Cowboys as much as anybody, and have been a fan for as long or longer than most, .. but it is what it is. When it comes to the post-season, we are irrelevant.

So don't try and tie this "hating the playoff drought" with "not being a fan."

For a second there I thought you were talking about Seattle being a "Chihuahua" in comparison to Dallas as the "Great Dane". And the "haven't done anything for almost two decades" tag fits nicely with Seattle as well, that is until this year. Before winning the Super Bowl this year, Seattle is/was a bottom of the barrel franchise in the NFL, they aren't/weren't anywhere near a top franchise, honestly not even an average one. Before this year Seattle had a playoff record of 9-12 (.428%), and only one Super Bowl appearance with ZERO championships, some big scary dog they are (great dane). On the other hand Dallas has a playoff record of 33-25 (.568%), and EIGHT Super Bowl appearances with FIVE championships ... All I can say is that must be one big chihuahua! :p

Talk to me when Seattle wins 2-3 more Super Bowls, until then they're just a mediocre franchise that just won their first Super Bowl, something that 19 other teams have accomplished.

Fun Fact of the Day regarding Seattle - The past two years Seattle has had 10+ win seasons. Seattle hasn't had back to back 10+ win seasons since ... they've been a franchise, this was the first year they've ever done so ...

@JoeyBoy718 And keep repping that Cowboy gear! Don't let any flak deter you, people are just jealous of our past success if they're going to give you a hard time about your Cowboys. :D

That "one big chihuahua" hasn't eaten in a looong time!

LOL, you only enforced my point, ... the Seahawks won the Super Bowl after posting back to back 10 win seasons.
Last year they made it to the Divisional round where they lost 'at' the No.1 seed, .. by two points.

You are probably the only one that got confused as to who the chihuahua was in my post. LOL

I wear my Cowboys stuff all the time as do my kids and we are in Seattle all the time, live just 40 miles from there. Not really sure what the point is or just to do it? Anyway have fun the City is awesome, wish you had better weather so you could see the Mountains surround the city! Go up to Kerry Park at night and get a shot of the Space Needle, if you are still in town Saturday check out the Sounders opening day game, if you can't get a ticket just go hang out in a bar around the stadium and feel energy!

If this was Philly, he wouldn't have posted. The only thing left would be a milk carton with his picture.

My son texted me once that he was wearing his Cowboys hat while going through the Philly airport.

I was not comfortable with that, .. but better than down in the city.

That's embarrassing.

Especially when you know the Seahawks are the exact opposite of our team.

Your attitude towards America's Team is the only thing that's embarrassing.

5 > 1. Go Cowboys.

When we play in Seattle next year, will be a ton of Cowboy fans at the game like always in Seattle.

Well, just goes to show the sun even shines on a dog's you know what somedays.

They sure did, that was disgusting.

Bring up that they got jobbed out of other Super Bowl to stealers lol

I use that tactic to diffuse an antagonistic opposing fan. I find an embarrassing time in their teams history or I turn the tables with, "man, I can't believe that happened, I was rooting for your team in that game" etc. actually that was true I was rooting for Seattle vs stealers lol
