I am not sure how I feel... The turtles look ok.. but like.. It's a Bay film.. and looks Transformery.. Megan Fox was a bad choice.

I just don't know but I'm leaning towards negative more than positive. I want it to be good though.

I did like Black Sails by Bay and almost didn't watch it for that very reqson.....so you never know

I was a Bay fan prior to Transformers, and still like some aspects of those movies, so I am not put off by him. He is not directing though. I would rather he were because I am not a fan of the director at all. I think the biggest problem in the trailer is the voiceover. Maybe the tone works well for the scene it is from, but for a trailer it just doesn't sound right at all. Then there's the nose...it's a little awkward.

Michael Bay/Megan Fox....kind of a Sly Stallone/Brigitte Nielsen thing going on there?
Is Splinter going to be in it?

Yeah I'd almost rather he was directing as well.

For as much crap as Michael Bay gets, and a lot of it's justified, he is still an experienced director with the respect of his peers.

The guy that's directing this directed Wrath of the Titans and Battle Los Angeles. Both of those seemed a bit unimaginative in the actual directing aspects. To be fair though, I think Battle Los Angeles was doomed to fail, because I theorize it was the left over scraps of a Halo movie.

Don't know how I feel about this movie. Seems like this thing has been rushed like crazy although production hasn't reported anything out of the ordinary. But how weird is it to essentially get a glorified teaser trailer less than 2 months before it's release... this thing comes out in mid May and it looks like they're still working on the CGI. Just my speculation though.

Seemed like the trailer didn't know what the tone should be. And did they really just color the transformers font green for the ad?

I'll still see it, though.

I just don't see how you have like 8ft tall turtles. Ill stick with the originals over this crap.

I actually didn't mind that as much as I was irked that I didn't hear one single 'Cowabunga'.

But now that you mention it... how the hell do they fit through manholes to get to the sewer to hang out with Splinter?

I don't know. I guess being born in the 80's, growing up in the 90's, and getting TMNT and TMNT 2, that is my standard, of what the turtles should look like. Not like an 8ft dinosaur looking thing. And the voices don't match up to the size of them, it just doesn't seem right. And the whole shredder thing is odd. The actor William Fitchner(sp?) is a great actor, but I don't like the whole shredder story thing.

I'm largely the same way. Can't tell you how many times I watched secret of the ooze as a youngster. And every time I watched it I had to have Pizza. And later donuts.

The more I think about it, the more the large turtles don't really make sense.

He better not do thundercats.
Least Ghostbusters was good :D But yeah my 3 favs as a kid: Thundercats, TMNT, Ghostbusters. I liked the first TMNT (dark tone) and the first GB was brilliant. But there hasn't been a movie for Lionel yet ;) Not sure if I would want one either...The special effects look cool but like has been said, the turtles themselves are way too big and Megan Fox is too hot to be April. Need a girl next door type.

A young Geena Davis would have been a perfect April.
