6-10. As of today.

Need a great draft and redshirt players need to come in and contribute heavily if they are to be better than 8-8.

As of now I'm not giving a prediction because it won't be a good one. I'll wait until after the draft.

With the roster as is ill say 7 wins. Still a lot of offseason left though. 3 months from now I could see myself saying 10 wins.

8-8 with Week 17 loss to Giants at Jerry World. Until they prove otherwise.

Also: schedule strength never ends up being what you thought in the beginning.

Very true about SOS. I don't even pay attention to it anymore.

A little secret sauce over the next few months from Jerry and I'm certain a alot of these predictions will flip to 10-6, 11-5.

Right now they are easily a 6-10 - 8-8 team give or take a win. There's potential there, if somehow our defense can just be average and our offense lives up to what it should be but there's no evidence over the last few years that any of that will happen.

I expect a lot of the same blown leads, last minute losses and big wins over good teams but bad losses to bad teams.

Even without Ware & Hatcher, I don't believe our defense will be as bad as last year. It's tough to be that statistically poor two years in a row.

How that translates to record I don't know yet.

I am in the 6-10 to 8-8 crowd. Funny to see so many putting us with two losses to Washington.

All depends on how the draft goes, picking up some more vet depth and staying healthy (or getting healthy). Right now we have two of our biggest players in Romo and Melton coming off serious injuries, and Lee just was cleared as well.

If we can get two at least one good starter on DL out of the draft, maybe a good OL to compete at G or RT and a FS I would feel decent about our chances.

The Win/Loss record in 2014 is almost irrelevant to me. This needs to be a year to build the team up. I would keep young players with upside on the roster over low upside veterans even if it means sacrificing a win or two. I would make certain that backup players get enough snaps to evaluate their future.
