I tried to make link but was unsuccessful.

I have been saying it for a while now, and I really do think there is a good chance Dallas moves up for him.

If ever Dallas was going to move up for a guy, Donald would be the one to do it for.

1. A 3-tech DT is one of what Dallas defines as an impact position... meaning a position that you would be willing to spend a lot of resources on.
2. DT is a big area of need for this team in this draft.
3. Literally, you couldn't put together a guy physically who would be a better fit for Marinelli's 3-tech position.
4. Dallas likes to draft RKG's, and Donald is most assuredly that. Loves football. Is extremely coachable. Always goes 100 MPH.

I think the Dallas front office has learned its lesson on waiting for someone you really want to fall to you. They did exactly as I wanted them to with Dez, jumping Baltimore who was going to take him. In the next round, they did the same thing with Sean Lee, who was rated a whole round higher that where they took him. So, I think they view it similar to the way I do, which is to say they really, REALLY think Donald is a star 3-tech for the next decade... easily worth an extra pick.

If ever you were going to move up for an impact guy... this draft with Donald is it.

I think it is going to happen. If it does, Donald is going to very quickly make everyone forget about the extra pick Dallas gave up for him, just like Emmitt did.

I can't wait for Thursday!

I agree. Talk about the right player for the right defense. Even his intangibles align with our philosophy. We traded up for Dez, Lee, Claiborne. Jerry has shown willingness to go after the guy he absolutely wants.

That said, I still maintain he will be available to us at 16. He fits our team perfectly but not many others. Top talent in this draft is going to push somebody down. I see two reaches happening, as well, that will push someone down; OBJ, Martin.

Love the player but would be concerned that we may end up with Mo and not Emmitt. Would rather have the chance of a Barr/Easley combo with 1st/2nd picks vs just Donald with top 10 pick.

That's understandable and I would like Barr/Easley... just not as much as Donald/Crichton or Donald/Ford.

I absolutely think there is very little chance of Donald not being very, very good in this defense. He played exactly the position at Pitt in 2013 that he would be playing in Dallas. And he played it better than just about anyone else ever has in college.

If they move up do you see it taking a second round pick? If so do you see Cichton/Ford lasting all the way till the 3rd? Most mocks have them going 2nd round that I've seen.

All over twitter tonight Donald in play for TB and Minn at 7 and 8

Donald is going top10 too much buzz and momentum isn't getting by Vikings

Casserly also didn't have Manziel drafted in the first round. I am starting to get annoyed with mock drafts lol.

I'd love for that to happen obviously, but in my mind the DL is always a premium pick and given the shortage of top talent at that position it's unlikely he goes all the way to 16. Between the Bears and Giants and other teams willing to trade up it would a huge leap of faith to sit tight. Then again, if Barr and a few other choices are still available when #11 rolls around then maybe they don't need to trade up.

I thought we already had our 3 tech of the future? Why would we invest 2 of our top 3 picks in the same position? If he's there at 16 you have to take him because he would be overwhelmingly BPA. But I don't see why we would go out of our way to trade up for a 3 tech after signing Melton.

Good break down, I agree.

If they think Donald is going to be a 10 yr all pro, it is more than worth a 3rd rounder to move up and get him.

Donald and Melton together would just be sick on 3rd down!!!!!

No, I'd rather have Donald and attaochu
But I don't want to trade up for donald

Every team thinks their top 15 pick will be a 10 year all pro

Donald is going top10 too much buzz and momentum isn't getting by Vikings

Vikings will take a QB
Giants OL or big DL
Bears safety or big DL

Donald will be there at 16 if we don't panic

Exactly what I see.

Vikes = Bridgewater
Giants = Martin
Bears = HaHa

Actually, that is the guy I'd like to get with Donald. Attaochu is, IMO, going to be a very good edge rusher. Add Donald/Melton at the DT positions on passing downs and I think it would give offenses fits. Good call on Attaochu.

I, as I'm sure you know, would be fine trading up for Donald though.

No way he gets past the Bears
