DC movie schedule leaked

Weird.

Why would Shazam be the follow up when he's not quite as known as WW, green lantern or the flash. Same goes for sandman.

Also, is it necessary for shazam to be a part of the JL on film? He's almost he same guy as superman. This is the reason War Machine doesn't make an appearance in the avengers (just a 2nd iron man) and gambit didn't make an appearance in the first 3 x-men films-- gambit's rogue personality s too similar to wolverines.

I think teaming the flash with green lantern is interesting though.

If you're kick starting the franchise with the two biggest names (bat/supes) with appearances from other heroes, then it would be a steep decline to focus on just one less popular hero by themselves.

So you have a flash/lantern team up then maybe a Wonder Woman/aquaman team up. Then reunite them all for justice league.

Also it keeps you from having the same question that pops up in every new marvel movie... "Captain America is wanted by everyone in SHIELD, why doesn't he call for some help from stark, or banner?"

At least some of the team stays assembled.

I was a kid in the late 1970s in California when an episode of the Shazam! tv series was being filmed in my hometown. I remember the cast and crew to this day. And have such an affection for the Shazam character. So now the character given the green light for a movie has me excited.
 
I saw "DC movie schedule" and I thought someone had made a movie about us (Dallas Cowboys)

I'll see both but neither is likely to be a really good movie
There is just too much of a power gap between superman and batman and shazam is just a second coming and less serious version of superman
 
As a big fan of the superhero genre, I hope it works out. Can't have too many for me. I'm just worried about Warner Bros uneven track record with these characters.

Tobey Maguire Spider Man 3 Was pretty bad with the token Venom story. X-Men 3 was pretty blah. Lets not forget Elektra ad Daredevil and the first two Hulk Movies. Though DC has had a few more clunkers

While those are Marvel films, they are not the same Marvel Studios (Disney) that's been pooping gold with the Avengers films.

Spider-man is Sony.

X men 3, Elektra, and Daredevil were/are Fox.

So guardians of the galaxy would be the first stinker from that studio. Although, I think it's going to be great.
