Logic would dictate that a defense that lost its 3 best players from last year and was the worst in the league, would be bad this year likely worse. I've read the exact opposite here.

I honestly don't know what we were expecting. Our defense was missing many key players. No Melton, No McClains, no Selvie, no Scandrick, no Carr, no Claiborne.

I'm frustrated with the defensive effort. We seem to have zero direction on defense.

Yeah, but when you have Webb and Mitchell as your starting DB's, with Heath as the nickel CB, and you're running guys out there you just signed two days ago, what are you gonna do?

You're right except they have a new DC and their defense is younger and the personnel......while we did lose Hatcher, Lee and Ware, Hatcher and Lee were useless in the month of December.
