Another forum i visit has a thread where people mention what they are watching, recommend things for others, etc.

Couple good shows i recently finished was Hell on Wheels, Orange is the New black and Hemlock grove, all three are definitely worth watching.

Netflix actually makes some pretty good shows.

If there is already a thread like this, just delete this one.

Watching "Lost" again. About halfway through hoping to get a better understanding of it this go-around.

I watched OITNB and thought it was pretty awful after you get over the fact that its a setting that just hasn't really been on TV ever before.

They're all dead. You're welcome lol

I watched it when it aired and they were not all dead the whole time :)

It took me all this time to get the wife to watch it. She kept saying it was stupid and she would never watch one episode. Well, after three shows, she got hooked and asking me all kinds of questions that I am not sure I can answer, even after knowing what happened.

Nothing better than a women's prison filled with actresses.

It was stupid. Sloppy writing, plot lines going nowhere, unfulfilling conclusion. Just my opinion, of course.

They have a good selection of Foreign films. I have watched most of the Korean revenge ones and have enjoyed most of them.

I watch Its Always Sunny, Parks and Rec, The Office, or Arrested Development quite a bit if nothing is on TV.

I like OINTNB. Plus I like watching the old movies and tv shows I liked. Venture Bros, My Name is Earl, Futurama, and etc.

Great selection of Foreign films, but they are missing some classic by guys like Olmi & Fellini. They do however have a good number of Wong Kar Wai films on hand.(Fallen Angel!).

As many have mentioned, I just started house of cards... Fincher... awesome, only 2 eps in... awesome.
And someone has suggested to me "Top of the Lake" , a bbc show i believe (?) I have to put that in play.

I have Verizon Ultimate HD with all movie channels. Already paying 200 bucks a month.

Is it really worth to get Netflix on top of what I have?

If anybody wants to check out the british Netflix, which has new movies/shows that the American one doesn't. (Like Saving Private Ryan, Rome, Pearl Harbor, etc), just download the browser "Operah" and the add-on Zenmate. Very easy.

It got bad because it got popular and they started adding stuff to it to make it last much longer than it was originally going to run. Hurley was originally a side character and had NO back story and a much more limited role in the stories. The show got popular, he turned into a favorite so they started writing more stuff to make it last longer and his character more lines and back story.

It would have been interesting to see how that show would have went if they did not add more stuff to it and stretch it out like they did.

I think it would have had a lot less plot lines that went nowhere.
