Seems like the perfect match seein how Jerry is the most well known consumer of the $200+ bottle of blended whiskey. Blue label, Cowboys blue. Jerry the face of the franchise. The glitz and glamour team of the NFL . . . . . . They could even have the special Cowboys commemorative edition with Cowboys edition silk in a Cowboys box. Maybe Jerry could even get his face on the commemorative edition box.

  • Blue Label: Johnnie Walker's premium 80–86 proof (40–43% ABV[15][16]) blend with no age statement. Johnnie Walker Blue Label, also known as Max Walker, is blended to recreate the character and taste of some of the earliest whisky blends created in the 19th century.[17] Bottles are numbered serially and sold in a silk-lined box accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. It is one of the most expensive blended Scotches on the market, with prices in the range of US $200–$300.

Never going to happen with the millions miller pays for their sponsorship. Might as well ask when little caesars or cadillac is going to get a deal.

The season is getting ready to start and final cuts are happening so could we give it a rest with the Jerry is literally the devil posts? It's getting really tiresome.

Not in this thread. He just said Jerry should get with the liquor company to make some cash since they are getting a lot of publicity.

Jerry is brilliant at marketing. Even I give him that. He is.

You dont think Jerry could work out a way to have both? Two totally different products with different customer bases.

You're right. Its a match made in heaven. That BSPN article put Johnnie Walker Blue in the spotlight. I didntr know anything about it before reading that article - but Im not a drinker. I bet there is an increase in sales for that blue label with that article coming out.

Better question is, why would any company want to have their product associated with the mediocrity of the Dallas Cowboys and their snake oil salesman Owner/GM Jerry Jones

I've served it on flights if the customer has requested it beforehand. It's good stuff if you drink. I'm not shocked Jerry has a fondness for it.

Only answer can be is the brand is iconic & golden. The foundation of this team from the Landry years is just that strong. I keep wondering when it'll fall but they keep ca chinging along!

Riding on the coat tails of Tom & Tex is prob good for at least another 10-15 yrs.

Tex was an amazing GM. And Landry was a football genius & such a classy gentleman. I know the game caught up to him & was passing him by but I can think of nobody past or present in the NFL that I read about & admire more. He's the epitome to me of what the NFL should be.

Tex was a great visionary. We had so many great players. We did things that other clubs would have never dreamed of in a million years. But it was iconic and truly unmatched so that it could never be duplicated, and all because of Coach Landry.
