Score is much closer than it really was. At the end of the season, fans will forget how bad we played and say justify themselves by saying, "Hey, 28-17 against San Francisco isn't too shabby!"

You're right. Imagine if we don't throw 3 god awful ints and then fumble the ball away for a pick six?!?

Because one game tells the story for all of his 4th qtr performances, you gotta be kidding me.

Stop being sensitive. Are you related to Romo? That's not what I was stating. At some point down the road this game will become a distant memory, as have some of Romo's past performances whether they be the entire game or in the fourth quarter. Because we forget, when the stats are pulled months from now for his 4th quarter, they'll be improved after today. That's not a knock on Romo's past 4th quarter performances but we'd be foolish to think there haven't been other games in the past 8 years that were out of reach in which we were throwing on 1st and goal with only 1:30 left in the 4th.

So Romo went pick happy and Dez quit because of cramps. great start to the season. Talk about a blown opportunity

This team couldn't beat a 49ers team that was missing key players and overall didn't play that well.

"I've been telling you, Skip, the Cowboys are an accident waiting to happen."

Lets get ready for this offense to hang 40 to save the D....ps...great plan.....thats a top 5 offense....if the other team doesn't show up

But those 3 INTs, and thus the game, were on Romo. That's my point. Fans will forget that and give him credit later in the season. Happens every year.

I don't agree. This was a game where it appeared we bot our buts kicked, but it was really 3 plays in the first half that got us beat: the Murray fumble, the Romo bad read with Williams wide open behind the coverage, and Tony missing Harris early and then throwing the pick on the goal line.

That's not an excuse, because each of those huge plays went against us. But, like most NFL games, this game was not as far apart as the game day thread would suggest.
