Man, It's Quiet Around Here

I tell you what, something I can say about that game yesterday is that Jairus Byrd is worth every bit of the contract he got. That is a really good safety. Too bad the rest of the Saints defense got pushed around. Sike! It's not too bad! I love it!

It's easier to complain and find fault then be positive, it's how they maintain a 24 hour sports news cycle. People (SAS, Cowherd, Rome) have built entire careers on constantly crapping on things without any true insight.

I was thinking if we could make 50/50 by mid season we'd make a run
I under estimated the Cowboys and thats fun

Saints invest a lot in the safety position between FA/draft and it doesn't pay off, Ryan confusing the players doesn't help either. But I think it proves you need a push up front or you will be knocked around. Collinsworth could not stop saying positive things about the Dallas O-line last night. It was so strange to her that.

Kenny Vaccaro, for all that mouth that he was running this week, got absolutely abused in coverage by Jason Witten, and on every other play was completely out of position it seemed.

They sure did spend a ton of money on Byrd, though, and it's now coming back to bite them. They're still an offensive force, which was strange to see us shut them down, but on defense they forewent front players in favor of the expensive single DB. We did the same thing with Brandon Carr, to an extent, but Brandon Carr has played very well and fit in with the salary cap and the defensive unit as a whole.

Also, can we just give Sterling Moore a Scandrick Contract right now? That dude deserves to be on this team for the foreseeable future.

I would of posted more last night but had to be up early for work.

Still stoked about last nights game.

This is what celebration looks like. Food tastes better, air smells cleaner. After a big win, people enjoy life - they don't need to come here to vent.

After big wins I want to get around my Cowboys family - "did you see that play? Did you see that hit?" etc.

I knew we were in for a big game when Witten caught that big first down early and got up and signaled "first down" -- when Witten is THAT fired up, you know we're rolling.

I hear you. I recorded the game, might watch it again tonight instead of the monday night game.

Can't get that OL performance out of my head - and don't want to. Going to re-watch the game in half an hour. Better get some food ready and enjoy the win again. :)

My stupid internet crapped out again last night! It was murder watching the game without posting here!!!!!

That game kept me up late and I have been soaking in the news this morning. Best win since the 2009 Saints victory imo. This is honestly the first time in a long time that I think this team has some serious potential.
