I don't believe in or settle for moral victories as this thread would suggest .. A W is a W .. A loss Is a loss.. I will be happy if we win... In fact ecstatic ... I will be disappointed if we lose
That to me is what being a fan of a team means to ME

Why would you be disappointed though?

Why would you be disappointed though?

Because the Cowboys lost and I would rather they win? That's why ..

Let's just agree to disagree ..
As you would be ok with a close loss and would settle for that ... And I wouldn't ...
Not questioning your fandom .. You just are a fan in a different way .. That is all

I will never understand a fan who always complains that his team rolls over ......... but he himself gives up a week before the game is even played.

I would not want that type of guy on any kind of team.

So you one of those fans that can be HONEST huh?

Yea ........ the Sea-hawks our the Champions ........ they are gonna be favored.

But I'll be damned if I am gonna roll over and spread my legs for the rival fans.

This team and its fans need to man up.

If the Boys play like they did last week ....... they can win.

Now go hide under your bed till the big bad seahawks are gone.

I am mature enough as well since Ive been a fan since the early 70's ...

But supposedly knowing they will or won't go 15-1 has nothing to do with WANTING to win every game ...celebrating a win and being disappointed after a loss..

Again you post a thread stating that YOU will be satisfied with and even WANTING to see a close loss more than a week before a game... I simply state I'm confused by your WANT and I believe most others have responded as such as well all wanting a win

You further explain that you want to win but figure we will lose and all but guarantee a loss ...

I am willing to agree to disagree that your vision is different than mine but you follow up with what I assume is an insult towards me and or questioning of my maturity (not for sure as hard to take context in a post some times) by stating you are mature enough to know that the boys won't go 15-1 ??

WTH does that have to do with the price of brisket in Texas ??

Where does me and others wanting a win .. Celebrating a win and being disappointed with a loss of ANY game equate to predicting a foolish thing like a 15-1 record ???

Don't get caught up in the game next week

Yes I am a fan but I know when to be real and we are not as good as seattle and I expect us to lose.

When you have to qualify your posts with any variation of "Yes, I am a fan, but..." then you are not a fan. The mere fact that you feel like you have to justify that point to us is a sign that you yourself question your own fandom. Instead, you're some sort of amalgamation of a person that follows the team but doesn't really care whether they win or lose, just if you're right or not.

No true fan would ever consider uttering the words, "I want to see a close loss."

Oh wow. I just realized what you and your type are. You're wannabe local sports media.

... I feel the urge to pile on but the pile has already grown so tall that I don't think I can jump that high. :(

I want a W. It would be absolutely fantastic.

I don't think we're going to win. But I'm going to go into the game, and through the game, rooting like hell for one regardless of rather I think we will get it or not.

I want it to be a W and that will always outweigh the fact that I don't think it's going to happen.

Every single year, even when you're a good or great team, you go into the season knowing that it's a pretty dang good chance that you won't be winning the Superbowl but that doesn't keep me from rooting for it to happen regardless.

Everyone is beating on the person that created this threads head, well I live in Vegas and would love to see a win but if I'm playing a Parlay this weekend I'm all over Seattle. Part of the reason I don't bet Dallas games. I'm po'd when they lose and even more po'd when they lose me money, then there is the guilt of betting against my team but if I have to pick it's not us this week.
