If romo is "questionable" would you play him?

He's 50/50. We got an NFC powerhouse that I predicted would win their division before the season started. Who blitz 46% of the time and have banged romo around before.

A loss drops us to 6-3 with two against Philly, and @ nyg and @ wsh. And the colts. This is tough.

Depends on how Romo feels and what the Doctors say.

Not worth risking him for one game -- the Cowboys need Romo for the long haul this season.

You bench him until the bye. That will make us rely on the run and we eden didn't look to sloppy against the skins. Bryant should of caught both of those balls in the endzone.

Wasn't the fade underthrown and broken up before it got to him? Weedens got an arm But zero touch

If Tony can show durring the week that he can move and be productive. I would start him. If he can't he sits.

This is what Weeden was brought in for. Time for him to show what he can do.

Haven't we figured it out that we can't rely on Romo for an entire season?

Absolutely. He will get blitzed and hurt on one of the blitzes. High risk, low short term reward, high long term risk.

If Romo can't protect himself when there are extra blockers sent on a blitz, or he cannot make every throw that he normally makes when healthy, then he shouldn't play.

If the answers above are that he can do these things, then he should play. Unfortunately, the answers to both were no after the Keenan Robinson hit on Monday, and the coaching staff still put him back in.

Run the damn ball 40+ times no matter who is taking snaps. It'll wear those guys down. Use two TE's to max protect as well.

We'll see how he progresses. Ultimately it's Jerry's call. IMO.

One of the balls to Dez was on Dez, the 1st pass in the endzone was a back shoulder and had Weeden put some air under it Dez would have had a better chance. There was on doubt on the 1st one he drilled it in their and Dez even patted his chest saying that was on him.

If Romo checks out fine with the doctors and is ready to go you play him. Simple as that. If Romo does not check out fine and there is risk of further injury then you sit him.

No, I've figured out that he is one of the toughest players in the game and if he can drag himself out there to help the team, he will. If there is anyone you can rely on, it's Romo.

I would sit him at least one week if he can't move like he normally does. I could see Romo getting happy feet whenever he sees a blitz coming and start chucking and ducking.

Jason Garrett needs to man up and make a decision and stop letting Jerry tell him what to do. If Romo doesn't practice Thursday and Friday like he normally does than sit him and let Weeden run the offense.

Weeden produced 10 points in 2 drives, give him a shot, if he can't get it done you can bring in Romo, it doesn't have to be one or the other.

Great post. Go with Weeden since he is 100% and mobile. We will be running the ball a ton/ throwing screens anyway. If Weeden starts looking horrible out there, then bring Romo in. If he plays well, then it is a win win situation because Romo can get healthy.

There is no evidence Jerry told Garrett what to do last game. None. He told Garrett what the doctors and Romo were saying.

It's so frustrating how people will just repeat as fact something that is entirely untrue/unproven.

So I guess you were on the sidelines listening to everything?

Depends on which Romo show's up. If it's the Romo we had against the 49ers to begin the year, the Cowboys would be better off with Weeden at the helm.
