Most of the fun is watching the landscapes as we fly over...........

Next is Wonder Woman's invisible plane. No need for the video screen.

Now what are they going to do if some people have panic attacks? Is there somewhere else they can take them?

There was an article a couple of years ago about commercial supersonic and hypersonic flights. A small portion of the article discussed the psychological challenges of passengers adjusting to being confined in a plane that they could not see out of because planes that move that fast more than likely won't have windows. This would solve that problem.

Maybe they just turn off all the screens in that scenario, let the person get through the panic attack and then turn them back on.

I'm having a panic attack just watching the video and thinking about it

I had a panic attack at the beginning of Gravity when I watched it in 3D lol

I don't like planes. My family and friends think I have a fear of flying which I don't as a matter of fact I love flying it's crashing I fear.

I fly for a living. I'd rather be in a plane than a car!

Are you a fight attendant? I had a bad experience on a plane 15 years ago was involved in a crash landing thought I was a goner. I use to enjoy air travel but not anymore. Took a flight to Australia last year it was the longest 15 hrs ever. I have a friend who owns a Learjet and refuse to fly in one. Maybe you can answer this question but let's say you take a flight from Miami to Seattle and crash along the way and survive do you get a refund? I would tell the airline I paid for a flight to Seattle not a corn field in Kansas.

Yes. Plane travel is very safe. The longer I fly the more I love it. I've never feared a crash.

When I do fly I try and pick a seat closest to the flight recorders because they barely suffer a scratch on them during a crash. They're usually still in working condition. They should make planes out of whatever material they make those black boxes out of.

Ha. Just enjoy your flights. Nap. Read. Don't worry about crashing. Why won't your friend fly their Lear? They're awesome!

No way can I nap on a plane. I read and even drink but that doesn't calm my nerves maybe I should try hypnosis. lol I do seem to relax a little during an inflight movie provided they don't show the movie airport. Not only do you have to worry about mechanical issues on planes you have to worry about terrorists/hijackers. I was on a plane last year and overheard a passenger ask a flight attendant "how often does a plane of this type crash?" She said "once." :p My friend flies his Lear but I won't fly with him.

You're safe on a plane! We've never been hijacked or had a terrorist. We even manage to stick to our schedules most of the time. That's my employer's major worry!

Let me know if your friend's company is hiring pilots. I fly a King Air right now.

I hear ya.

Not everyone who doesn't like to fly fears the actual flying. If you're claustrophobic, that'll do it too. Germaphobes can have an issue with it as well.

You with SWA? As an aside,no windows is not new. Took many a hop from CONUS to SE Asia on C-5 galaxy's a number of years back. The seating was up a flight of narrow stairs, you sat backwards, with no windows. Before taxiing, there always seemed to be fog coming out of the ventilation system, for a rather surreal experience. Definitely not like taking a hop on a C-130 with small windows and nylon strap seats! Fun, back then!!
