You and me, both. I've long been a fan of giving Tony the time to figure out what the defense is doing if he thinks he needs it. He's a smart guy, so it's a fairly obvious advantage for us.

Where was this post after he sucked in the Commanders game?
Tony is our best chance to win, but at this point, he won't be going to Canton. When the defense brings more blitzers than blockers, you don't keep more blockers in and send out only 1-2 receivers....it's on the QB to beat the blitz, but he can't do it when he has a bad back and won't/can't afford to take a hit to deliver the pass.

Romo is 20 times the QB Weeden is, but let's not judge either by this Cardinals game. They are legit, and their defense ate our lunch...Romo would have struggled as well.

We had a half standing Romo when played Washington last week and that didnt get us no where. This team need to draft a blue chip qb if they are serious.

There are extreme fans on both sides of the Romo argument. On one hand you have the fans who believe Romo could have been the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ himself. On the other hand you have fans who believe Romo is a born loser. Neither of these is anywhere near correct. Romo is an above average QB who shows flashes of greatness at times. He is also a QB who plays less than average at times. The thing that separates Romo from top notch QB's is consistency. Part of the blame could be placed on the players around him but keep in mind great QB's make players around them better. I think Romo gives us the best chance to win when he plays well, unfortunately he still has a tendency to make dumb decisions. I would be willing to bet that 99% of Cowboy's fan would forget about all the bad Romo moments if he took this team to a Superbowl. The only person that can control the way some fans feel about Tony Romo is Tony Romo.

I see that term posted a lot and always seems to be pertaining to romo.

I know in the past there were many long Romo threads and i almost never bothered with them as it would seem to be the same people arguing again and again and i just didnt really care to enter that. Then one day people were posting romo stans and i figured it came out of one of those threads but i never knew what it was.

A Romo stan is a supporter. There is nothing wrong with supporting the guy but they see no wrong in Romo. I dont care if Romo throws 4 ints they will find anyone to fault besides Romo. The team can loose but the only bright side they will talk about is how great Romo played ( if he played a good game), easily stating its not Romo fault. In their eyes this team can only win with Romo. They feel as this team will never find a qb in the draft that is better than Romo. He is the greatest that have ever played for this team. As soon as you criticize Romo they will lash out quickly calling you names....a stan.
