Suggestion for Cowboys: Don't start Tony Romo vs. Giants. Use him as closer if necessary. Get him to Thanksgiving as healthy as possible.
It's crazy to ask Tony Romo to play a full game Sunday night and another Thursday afternoon. Need him more vs. Eagles than Giants.

@espn_macmahon he'll be 4 wks removed from his back injury for the Giants game. If he didn't sit out vs JAX he won't vs NY, nor should he.

I agree with Ross. This idea is totally stupid. It isn't like we can suddenly go, "Oh, we're down 21 points, let's bring in Romo and win."

We need every victory we can get, and although we have the ability to beat both teams, a victory over New York is more likely. Play to win until you no longer have a reason to win, then we can rest Romo.

Because a game vs. a division foe with their third string Cleveland reject QB was a gimme, right? Giants are therefore an automatic win?

Even with Romo, a game vs. the Giants should be considered a toss-up at best. Rarely are there games like that Green Bay - Chicago disaster. Most NFL games hinge on about 5 plays. Maybe Pittsburgh should have rested Big Ben against the woeful Jets. That same team also lost to Tampa Bay. The first place Browns (did I just type that?) were blown out by the Jags.

The only time you rest starters is at the end of the year when your playoff spot has been locked up or if you are completely out of it and you want to look at some young guys.
