IF that is actually a rule, it is a stupid rule. Not only do the giants avoid the loss of yards, but also don't lose the time associated with it. nice.

And how can you override a penalty? That is part of the punishment.

I just don't think that can be right. If you could do that, then plenty of teams would have done it at the end of games to avoid the end of the game. You shouldn't be able to circumvent an automatic runoff with a timeout. The runoff would come before the timeout. Not vice versa.

I've said it before and I will continue to say it, ladies and gentlemen, these are your Jason Garrett coached Cowboys.

If no one is open what do you want him to do? He can only extend the play for so long.

He is missing wide open receivers because he isn't going through his progressions. They've shown it time and time again, and if you watch the game film its very obvious. He is trying to force the ball, as he has always done, but he doesn't have the arm for it. His excuse in past year was lack of time to throw, now he has all day and still stares down the same receiver the entire time.
