Understood. But then your playing against the best teams. Unless your playing a team in the NFC South. We have been listening to the "second season" stuff for to long to. You don't lose to Washington, have to score on the last drive against the sad Giants, get blown out by the Eagles and expect much, at least I don't.

Those are all rivalry games where anything can happen. Our division foes always treat our games like their SB. We still have Phi n WSH to contend with and lucky for us It's on the road.

I love that statement. It cracks me every single time some one says it and I knew you were going to.
Why don't we act like those games are our SB? Why don't we blow those teams away or play harder than we seem to against them?

I understand your frustration with those who are upset with the specific DC regime. And I assume your on the "keep things as they are" approach and things will get better. IMO the last thing these zoners are doing is hating on the franchise. On the contrary, they're so passionate about this franchise winning, they're upset with the same old inconsistent team leading to the same result. You know the definition of stupidity? Trying to do the same thing the same way over and over again expecting different results right? We have been beating our heads against the wall of mediocrity with the same cast of characters for many years. The only hate I see is the hate of losing or mediocrity. The DC have made slight modifications with coordinators and some good things have happened however the way we lost this last game looks like the Decembers of old and our experiences over the last 18 years. Was it the Eagles are so much better? I think our coaches got out coached and players out played. No short time travel excuses please. If this keeps happening you have to pin it on someone. Just sayin.

Because we fell short means we didn't try? That cracks me up! Not every win will be a blow out. Why can't winning be enough? As you mentioned the comeback win vs NY. We did come back and win, right?

Not what I'm talking about. You said it's their SB when they play us. You think we play them like it's ours? We need to play every game like it's our SB.
That's how you get there. The Hawks certainly played like the SF game was theirs.

We fell short against Philly? We didn't even show up, and that was the biggest game all season for this team.

That's how those teams treat us only. They don't play every game like it's their SB. Nobody does.

NE, DEN and Philly all had a game where they appeared to not show up. Tail kickings happen and it happened to us. There's no excuse we just got beat and now its our turn to do something about it and come out strong like the other 3 teams I mentioned.

I am here every dam day, win or lose............you don't have over 15,000 posts being a "fake fan".

However I call it like I see it and I am not going to blow sunshine up everybody's backside when the team gets curb stomped and even Jerry says the team had no fire or passion or enthusiasm for the game. If players cant get up for a prime time division game for first place, then there is a serious problem with this program and it starts with the coaching.

For all I know they could be a Super Bowl team. And the team you guys are striving to mimic gave up 34 points to the Deadskins, 427 Yards to Kirk Cousins and gave up 511 total yards. So what is your point?

People can say what they want about Garrett but his philosophy this season should be successful. Run the ball and pass to get you out of a mess. Use clock. Its smart and effective football. Its what's gotten us to 8-4. LIke I said above, Chip is the Don Nelson of the NFL. Playing very stupid football.

That would be the biggest collapse in franchise history...............no previous Cowboy team that started 6-1 or better missed the playoffs, this year would be the first time...............don't see how that happens and you call a press conference and give Opie an brand new extension...........Arlington better have the riot control police on standby that day

Its still a gimmick. The Deadskins lost by 3 points to them. Its the Cowboys. I have no excuses to be made why we couldn't stop it. They're better than us. But the Packers sure put up 53 on them and could've put up 70 if they wanted too. Its a gimmick offense.

Think about this. The Eagles have a statistically worse defense than ours, a -6 turnover differential and have played a very mediocre Nick Foles and awful Mark Sanchez at QB. And despite that they are the #3 offense in the league (did I mention with Nick Foles and Mark bleeping Sanchez?) are 9-3 and are in position to win their 2nd division title in 2 years.

I hate the Eagles as much if not more than anyone, but if you don't think Chip Kelly is doing a hell of a coaching job in Philly you are fooling yourself. And someday soon he may get a decent QB to run his system and find his own Rod Marinelli to fix his defense and then things really get ugly.

You can write that off as a gimmick all you want, but he is still winning a lot more with a lot less than Jason Garrett ever has or probably ever will. And he took Garrett to the woodshed on Thursday.

p.s. Getting sliced apart by Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay doesn't make your system a gimmick. If so there are a lot of gimmick teams out there.
