Its still a gimmick. The Deadskins lost by 3 points to them. Its the Cowboys. I have no excuses to be made why we couldn't stop it. They're better than us. But the Packers sure put up 53 on them and could've put up 70 if they wanted too. Its a gimmick offense.

I am curious to see how this offense does in bad weather games..................that might be he Achilles heel if it is snowing or pouring down rain, both would limit the passing game which Chip Kelly's offense relies upon. They run 94% of their pass plays out of shotgun, that would be impossible in bad weather.

That team can run the ball as well.

They had us going east and west with all of their misdirection and then would just hit us with simple isolations up the middle for big gains.

Think about this. The Eagles have a statistically worse defense than ours, a -6 turnover differential and have played a very mediocre Nick Foles and awful Mark Sanchez at QB. And despite that they are the #3 offense in the league (did I mention with Nick Foles and Mark bleeping Sanchez?) are 9-3 and are in position to win their 2nd division title in 2 years.

I hate the Eagles as much if not more than anyone, but if you don't think Chip Kelly is doing a hell of a coaching job in Philly you are fooling yourself. And someday soon he may get a decent QB to run his system and find his own Rod Marinelli to fix his defense and then things really get ugly.

You can write that off as a gimmick all you want, but he is still winning a lot more with a lot less than Jason Garrett ever has or probably ever will. And he took Garrett to the woodshed on Thursday.

p.s. Getting sliced apart by Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay doesn't make your system a gimmick. If so there are a lot of gimmick teams out there.

I don't have a problem with Chip Kelly. He's done a solid job. But his offense is a gimmick. I compare him to Don Nelson. The Mavs stunk. They couldn't play defense and their offense sucked. Don Nelson started coaching them, he all of a sudden made them run and gun. Did their offense get better? You bet it did. Personnel didn't change but philosophy did. Their defense got worst. They were giving up as many points as they were scoring. But it got them to the post season just to lose because they couldn't play defense.

They've also been sliced up by Kirk Cousins who the Deadskins feel is worse than McCoy and RGIII. Its a gimmick offense. The gimmick offense got in our arse.

If he has success in the post season then i'll give that team respect. But its a gimmick. There's absolutely no way you can win going against everything football is about. Its incredibly STUPID to not use the clock when you have a lead. Cowboys had chances to get back into that game numerous times. The Eagirls could do NOTHING with short field. They couldn't stretch the field.

I'm conceding they are better than the Cowboys and any team in the NFC East. But they aren't this unbeatable force you guys make them out to be.

Its disappointing to see what they did against us because Kiffin couldn't stop ANYONE last year but the Eagirls TWICE. And the Cowboys offense is meant to slow the game down but if you can't execute than you get what you have. 10 points against a team that gave up 34 points to the Deadskins and 53 points to the Packers.

They ran the ball against US. I've seen them in other games and they've looked pitiful running the ball.

Maybe its getting better as the season goes on. Not sure. But it hasn't been great this year.

I'm not remotely saying they are an "unbeatable force." As I've already said I expect them to be 1 and out in the playoffs if they make it because their current defense is terrible and is missing their best player.

All I am saying is the Kelly has taken a 4-12 team over and won the division once and is on his way to doing it again. And playing a fast, up tempo offense in football doesn't mean you can't have a decent defense - different sport. The Bills went to 4 consecutive SBs playing all up-tempo, no huddle.

I'm elated we are 8-4. I figured 9-7. It's how we got the 4 that sucks. But to continually not make the playoffs or get the prize they are playing for year after year does wear on fans.

I'm not sure there is a way for us to get to four losses at any point without this board going into meltdown mode.

Some of the big runs were terrible play by the Cowboys more than great play by the Eagles.

Because they played the Packers at home with Rodgers playing ridiculous football there. I don't think he's thrown one INT yet in Lambeau and when I last saw the stats like three weeks ago he had like 18 passing TDs with 0 INTs. That same stretch they put on fifty plus against the Bears.

People also forget they have had way more instability at OL than the Cowboys have. I don't think they've had a constant starting five this whole season.

We'be been flopping around on this excuse alone for Garrett since he has been here.

It's not like Dallas was stopping them because they couldn't tackle. Our defense was totally out of position cause Kelly was picking it apart schematically and even Sanchez started noting the tendencies and abused us.

Pretty sure it snowed a bit when they played the Lions last year...

Love all the excuse against Chip Kelly. When Garrett was at the helm, our best offense was no-huddle because Garrett's schemes were ineffective. That was supposedly a great offense, because it was ranked four in yardage or whatever. But Kelly puts up thirty on a regular basis and it's a 'gimmick' offense with all sorts of scrubs at QB.

Some fans don't have the ability to give credit where it's obviously due. It's called denial.

So how about making Kirk Cousins look All-World?

Kirk Cousins problems are throwing INTs and consistency, not a lack of ability to air it out. He's has very good games interspersed with just awful stretches.

We made McCoy look all-Pro as well.

And the Eagles can run and have one of the sickest backs on the game in McCoy. Sometimes they have a tendency to abandon the run, but it's not because of lack of ability.

I think they had their top five Thursday or the first time this season. Which makes it worse. The first game back together and they steamrolled us.

Wait. His problems are throwing INT's and consistency? Isn't that in part a lack of ability lol? He's not a very good quarterback. My point was, the Eagirls have gotten whooped on from guys like Aaron Rodgers to Kirk Cousins. The highest in the league to the lowest in the league. Their team is built for offenses to go off. And for the life of me I don't understand why the Cowboys couldn't muster up more than 10 points. I know they had a short week but that doesn't explain the ineffectiveness of the offense.

There's no way anyone can tell me the Eagirls are built to win consistently especially on the road. But I will concede they are better than us. I will say that. And for that, Chip deserves credit. I don't think he should be the bar though is all I'm saying.

All he's ever done is win consistently. From New Hampshire, to Oregon, to Philadelphia

Pretending you can fix it otherwise is the true waste of keystrokes.

Success can be had here in spite of the Jones family. It just takes a much better coach, with more skins on the wall, than Jason Garrett.

Jerry Jones makes a lot of bad decisions. Making Garrett his head coach is one of those bad decisions.
