Um, jeans and sweat pants aren't the same thing. Jeans can look perfectly professional and dressy, sweat pants can never look like that. Wearing sweat pants on a plane is the same as wearing pajamas on a plane.

I've never understood the suit requirement to go to the stadium, and certainly not to travel. US has become overwhelmingingly business casual from what I can tell, but professional athletes should wear suits to drive and fly?

If you're going to travel you should do so comfortably. No problem at all with wearing sweat pants on a plane

Why can't you use the "comfortably" angle with everything then? If you're going to give a presentation to the board, you should do so comfortably. If you're going to sit down to dinner at the Four Seasons, you should do so comfortably. If you're going to propose to your girlfriend, you should do so comfortably. Sorry, sometimes comfort needs to take a back seat when in public or in certain situations. And there are plenty of very sharp looking pants that are very comfortable.

FWIW, I don't lose a lot of sleep at night over this issue. LOL.

I personally don't care what the players wear, I always thought the whole "dress code" thing by Garrett was just dumb when he would say "look in the mirror and pull that tie nice and tight"............LMAO

The dress code obviously has not helped the team on the field, we still lose almost every game to a team above 500

I wouldn't equate giving a presentation to sitting on a plane for 2 hours but carry on you guys know it all.
