Scandrick and Witten have rarely had outbursts on the sidelines. Dez is always *****ing about something, Irvin never displayed the outbursts as near as much as Dez has. Dez needs to grow up and realize that there's a time an place for that kind of passion. You can't do it every game and expect to be taken seriously by his team mates. Love the passion, but too much is too bad.

The time for passion is during the game, what he is saying is not as bad as it looks. He is animated no doubt but what you see and what he is saying very well could be different and in past situation it is. When he has ranted on the sideline and people took that as complaining yet later in the week when they added the audio to what he was actually saying it was upbeat and positive. he does not need to change anything

I don't care what he was saying. Players will tune him out if he keeps it up as he has over his career. You have to know when to do it and when not to. It's not something you can do every other game. It becomes weak.

It clearly matter what is being said, come on. You see it on TV yet no context to what is being said and that damn well does matter. As Irvin did as well and yes he was just as animated. Dallas has had enough guys that losing did not bother them having a guy who gives a damn about winning and is passionate about it matters a whole lot.

Never mind. You seem unable to understand.

@Tass, did your opinion change here in light of Tony's comments today re: what Dez was actually saying by any chance?

lol...no. Tony was nowhere near him when he was yelling at the guy, first of all. Secondly, a teammate is not going to throw another teammate under the bus to the media. I am confident in my lip-reading and body language discerning skills.

(And before any of you smart guys crack wise, yes, I HAVE actually been trained to do both.)

OK, give us a transcript then.

I understand maybe you don't understand playing the game. Dez is who he is, it is not an act he is passionate about the game and about winning. Yes he will rant on the sidelines so do others but because the camera is on him he is some how a jerk? lol Get a clue, Irvin did the same damn thing if you don't get that then that is on you but Dez is doing nothing wrong.

Tony Romo on Dez
He’s a passionate, emotional player and he gets that way during games. If you listen to the NFL Films on it, you’ll understand real quick that he’s yelling, but he’s also saying, ‘We’re the best! Let’s go! Here we are! Me and you guys! Now and forever!’ It’s comical that it’s all negative and weird to other people.”

Typical reply from a halfwit with no way to refute a post made about the subject at hand.

Nothing typical about my response. But tell yourself whatever you need to get through the winter.

Be honest, reading The Game once with your lips moving is the limit if your body language "expertise".

Good luck getting anybody to agree with you on this one. Personally, I think you're crazy. But out of curiosity...how do you know it was a staff member he was yelling at/about?

I totally agree with Tass. Dez is a loose cannon and you guys are giving him a pass because you think it was passion for the game when he was dogging a staff member. He's a jerk.

Ok. I do give him a pass for any sideline blow-up that all the other players say was no big deal. The first time another player argues with him and they tell us it's something the team has handled internally, let me know. Otherwise, Tass's lip-reading expertise notwithstanding, I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt as long as he's also producing on the field.

says you not his teammates not based on the words when audio is put to it shows nothing of him harming the team. This is non sense, Dez is hyper he is passionate this team needs it. We have had our share of guys just getting a paycheck win or lose no big deal. Loose cannon BS

The instance I am referring to has not been released anywhere with the audio attached.

Look, people, I know players get fired up. I know they curse in frustration and even in encouragement. I got it, ok? This guy was not doing that! He was acting like an inmate and it was shameful.

Some of you guys will excuse literally ANYTHING as long as the player produces on the field...probably the same guys who overlooked Irvin and his scissors.

I realize there are jerks on every team and ours is no different. With that, I'm done speaking on the matter.

I don't care how much he yells, but dropped passes and not getting separation? That irks me about any guy that's supposedly a top 3, or at least a top 5 WR.

So...Tass, is Tony Romo's individual character also to be questioned and scrutinized since he has come out and pubilicly exonerated Dez of acting like anything but a team player, though your "expert" lip reading abilities lead you to believe otherwise, or does this level of player evaluation only apply to those players whose personalities you don't like. My guess is it is the latter. After all, if it as you say, and Dez is acting like a cancer, then Romo is only being complicit by defending his behavior as something it isn't rather in public or the locker room. Its funny that when you are called out and told to provide a transcript you say there is no "audio" of the particular incident, but if you are a lip reader as you say...and you witnessed this then there should atleast be video..and you should be able to reasonably make your case off of that if it is as you say. Yet...even more damming against your unwarranted assertions is that there isn't even any audio out there of Dez to lend any supportto that which you are accusing him...because if he was a bad teateam player then this behavior would show up on a consistent basis and it would be quite obvious. Yea...you probably just dont like his personality.

Your remarks are is what's wrong with people today. All they care about is themselves. Their own personal satisfaction.
