Both look questionable at best for this game, and we need them to win I'd say. Getting pretty nervous about it. A healthy Doug Free would've been ideal too, but Parnell is pretty capable. What the heck do we do at DT and LB to replace TC and AH? I know we signed Anderson at LB but what will we activate Coleman at DT? Dang...this isn't good.

Crawford will play. It was just an allergic reaction.

To what? Holy cow, I didn't even know that. I guess I have to read some other threads and catch up...great news. Hitch has been so key, but hopefully Wilber can be serviceable.

I think we'll be okay. We were missing McClain last week and we held it together pretty well. Now, we have McClain back and we'll be covering for Hitchens. Our LBs have really been a strength all year even with injury issues.

Both will Play Hitch said he will play earlier this week and Crawford wouldn't miss this

Thanks for the input guys. No way in HELL I want to lose to these clowns. ( I live in Michigan) Bruce played lights out last week....sure hoping we can re-sign him. Doubtful from what I read, but still hopeful. (obviously McClain takes priority)

They said Crawford had an allergic reaction. He should be recovered from that by game time. He is the biggest issue of the players you listed. At LB they have McClain and Carter and they generally play Nickel (2 LBs on the field) more than half of the snaps. As long as Carter and McClain stay healthy, they can do OK without Hitchens. Free is a non-issue. Parnell has been terrific.

I think the deadline for activating a player like Coleman from the practice squad is 3:00pm on Saturday.

JUMP off the ledge :D

I read that now that you mentioned it, but I also found this from Broaddus:

He claims it is a throat infection....whatever the case, we need him badly and I hope you guys are right and he plays effectively. Stafford showed the last time we played that he can do big damage if given time.

I doubt hitch will play. He said Monday he was going to play but hasn't practiced all week.

I chalk it up to youthful exuberance.

Would be thrilled to be wrong.

Crawford will be fine and play.

The Cowboys will be in Nickel probably 75% of the time against this team. So as long as Carter continues his streak of good ball, Hitchens absence won't be too much of a factor.

I felt the same way. Adrenaline says yes but those high sprains are tough to manage. He'll go to game time decision and they will probably bench him. If we get hurt in the LB position, we may see him but even then I highly doubt it. Would hate to see it re-injured with trying to get him on the field.
