Being up 4 means jack **** when you're playing in that slop stadium against Aaron God, I mean Rodgers. (according to joe buck and Aikman).

It's inexcusable to be in 3rd and 1 and Audible to a pass. And Bailey is just losing his composure.

Yep. And they also had the Packers on their heels with all the momentum in their hands. Defense is gonna need to squash their drive to start the second half of its going to get ugly.

Good God, I thought I was a pessimist. People acting like the game is over, romo choked the game away in the 2nd quarter, Bailey is done. Come on, the are winning people. Previous Cowboys teams would be down 28-3 right now. They are ahead and playing well on both sides of the ball. Small momentum swing happen in every game. They have played better in the 2nd half lately. They may take this game and run away with it started midway through the 3rd quarter. Even if they don't and end up losing, man this team has take a monumental leap forward. Be happy as heck with that.

Except from people who know it probably wasn't the call, and people who know that the botch played into where Tony went with the ball. Otherwise, you're probably right. The rest of us will manage to keep that one play in context, though.

thanks for good perspective, hope others calm down. this is our game to win.

This is why I'm probably not coming anywhere near this forum for a while if we lose.

Its funny that they're letting Green Bay dive at the legs of Romo and no flag. If we dive at the legs of Rogers will we get flagged for it?

On paper it's nice, but when you know you should be up by 10-14 it's not so great. It's also not so great when you realize GB now has momentum/confidence and gets the ball after halftime.

We had it inside their 30 with 40 seconds left. GB SHOULD NOT have touched the ball again until the third quarter. Not only did they, but they scored points. That's an epic fail.

People 'know' all sorts of stuff they don't really know, it turns out. But being up on the road after 30 is not something that's just nice 'on paper.' The Packers have plays from that half where they're unhappy, too. Specifically with their own botched snap. This is a good team we're playing, and if you expect perfection you're inevitably going to end up being disappointed.

Now, we might go on to lose this game, and if we do it will be in part because of plays like the one you're talking about here, but that's how the cookie crumbles in the NFL. Not wanting the cookie to crumble that way is pointless.
