DeMarco's last fumble

I regularly peruse here, participate plenty too and surprised I'm not seeing the angst on DeMarco's 3rd quarter fumble that I hold as being huge and unacceptable. He proved to be a workhorse this year but that one play, when we needed him most, he didn't deliver, period! With a potential new contact looming, that fail was a back breaker and shouldn't be glazed over......

That fumble was, in my opinion, and exceptional play by Peppers more then it was a careless play by Murray. Yes, it did potentially cost us the football game but your opponents great players are going to occasionally make great plays.

It was one the most costly fumbles in Cowboy history.
He did have great year though and I agree that Peppers saved their tail there. Possibly game over if he doesn't reach in there.

If Martin makes his block, which was an easy trap block, Murray is untouched. Peppers dove from behind and knocked it out perfectly. Just a lucky play based on great effort. If Murray is to be punished, then Martin has to be punished as well.

It is only a great play because Murray did the secure the ball as he should when running through traffic.

Peppers made a heck of play. People act like Demarco would have scored had he not been striped of the ball but the truth is he would have only ran another 15 to 20 yards because of his lack of break away speed. That play was not the "back breaker" that some people claim. We had the game under control until it was stolen from us by a bias Blandino.

yes, a heck of a play by Peppers but think Emmitt, in that situation, would have delivered - something to be said about that. That turnover prevented the boys from putting the Packers and the game away

Plus we still had the lead and the whole 4th quarter to play

Actually Emmitt fumbled just as much, if not more than Murray

I'm undecided if that play or the incredible lost opportunity at the end of the first half contributed more to our loss.

If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have reached that game. I'm thankful for what he has done and willing to forgive him for the fumbling issues.
