Worst Playcall In Sports History

I was in total disbelief that they would call a PASS play there. I literally fell on the floor screaming at the TV before it was even intercepted. I cannot fathom taking the risk - especially from the 1 yard line - ESPECIALLY when you have Marshawn Lynch.

I can't wait to hear the justification for such a completely indefensible play call.

imagine this place with garrett, linehan and romo what we'd be feeling and saying

Imagine the media if Dallas had called that play. Seahawks are offering lame excuses. Tom Jackson is just beside himself on ESPN re the play

2nd and goal from the one and you throw a quick slant into coverage.................LMAO................like others have said, that is very Jason Garrett 2013 play calling right there.

LOL.

Who gives a rats *** what defense they're in? You have Marshawn Lynch. You want the win. It's 1 yard away.

I don't give a damn if it's Troy Hambrick in the backfield. You take that Lombardi Trophy! You don't back down!

Yup...told a buddy tonight I dont care if its the 85 bears...you run

Should have run it.
But fire everyone? everyone involved actually got them to the SuperBowl in the first place....and many of them were there when they won it last year.

Excusing that absolutely abhorrent call is to promote a culture of no accountability and a lack of sound judgment.

It doesn't matter what happened up to that point (let's not forget how much criticism the offense already received this year - all the "what's wrong?" Media quips) --- you have three chances to get ONE YARD with the toughest runner in football, a top 10 offensive line, and under a minute on the clock. You put that ball in Lynch's gut and you're one of a handful of teams to repeat the Super Bowl.

This isn't a week 6 divisional game that might affect playoff seeding. Absolutely absurd.
