Worst Playcall In Sports History

LOL.

Who gives a rats *** what defense they're in? You have Marshawn Lynch. You want the win. It's 1 yard away.

I don't give a damn if it's Troy Hambrick in the backfield. You take that Lombardi Trophy! You don't back down!

You seem highly emotional here . Manically so. Are you a huge Seahawks fan. Had to ask, Cas.
I mean, you seem beyond furious...almost rabid.

Horrific call. I know someone has thought it. Could you ****in imagine if Romo and Garrett went out like THIS in their first SB?

Excusing that absolutely abhorrent call is to promote a culture of no accountability and a lack of sound judgment.

It doesn't matter what happened up to that point (let's not forget how much criticism the offense already received this year - all the "what's wrong?" Media quips) --- you have three chances to get ONE YARD with the toughest runner in football, a top 10 offensive line, and under a minute on the clock. You put that ball in Lynch's gut and you're one of a handful of teams to repeat the Super Bowl.

This isn't a week 6 divisional game that might affect playoff seeding. Absolutely absurd.

The worst part is, they had two guys who were capable of running it.
Lynch and Wilson couldn't be stopped on the ground.

Not to mention Wilson is an excellent runner himself.

Even if you were intent on throwing the ball for whatever stupid reason, you don't go with THAT route. You throw another fade to Matthews, you run play action, you roll Wilson out. Not a play where you're basically just chucking and praying that the WR is open

I mean, we ran it right at Suh on 4th and 1 with Murray in the playoffs.

I'm just mind-boggled by this. Even more mind-boggling is that the Seachickens' OC will keep his job most likely, because "lol its just one play, you can't fire him."

LMAO..............I checked out some Seahawk fan sites and they are pretty much on suicide watch...................the consensus is they pissed away a SB win by not giving Lynch the rock from 1 yard out............brutal to be a Seahawk fan tonight.

The Seahawks snatched defeat from the Jaws of victory. Unbelievable...

Reason Pats stayed in goal line defense is because any coach with a brain would never believe the other team would throw the ball in that situation.

Carroll will go down in history as the dumbest HCing decision in SB history.

I wouldn't let him on the plane home. If I was Lynch I would have walked off the field and punched him in the mouth.

Absolutely the most brutal play call in the history of sport.

Anyone involved in that decision should be fired and/or cut.

Terrible call, terrible throw. They were lucky to be down there with that lucky catch.
