I see the team running an offense that for whatever reason teams rarely contain.
Brady has indeed had the better cast around as Rich says.

Cheater can never be ranked on the greatest lists in my opinion. Besides, Joe Montana is far better than Brady.

It doesn't dominate or rule his playing and winning. Until yesterday. Regular season division winning,,, 3 of 5 Super Bowls wins,,, the 2 losses by less than 5?
Never annihilated.

Every single QB has had their fair share of bad games. Joe Montana lost a playoff game 49-3 once. He went 8-15, 98 yards, 0 TD's, 2 INT's until Jim Burt knocked him into the middle of next year. He played 3 consecutive seasons where he was 0-3 in the playoffs. So let's not act like the guy never had any bad games.

Joe Montana gets the praise he does because of his performance in Super Bowls, but Super Bowls were a hella lot easier back then they they are today.

No.

Montana was 4-0 in the big game and he had 11 TD's with 0 INT's in the biggest game of the year.

So, no, Brady has not dethroned Montana nor will he ever be able to.

Montana is still the better big game QB when it comes to the Superbowl.

I wouldn't call him the greatest ever. But he's better than Peyton by a long shot.
Here's my ranking:

1. John Elway (unlike Brady, he took three teams with subpar defenses to the Super Bowl. He played five in all, six AFC Championship Games. I believe had he been on the Niners, he would have won at least five Super Bowls.)
2. Joe Montana (was Mr. Clutch. But he had more talent around him than Elway, including Jerry Rice for two of his Super Bowls.)
3. Tom Brady* (nine AFC championship appearances, six Super Bowl apperances, four wins, three Super Bowl MVP. Yes, he's had good defenses for the first three Super Bowls, but his defenses were average the other three and Brady was still competitive. Never beats himself. And has played with average running backs and average receivers for most of his career.)

If he wins another Super Bowl, I may have to move him above Montana, maybe Elway.

Brady is good but you can't deny the huge coaching advantage he has. Brady without Bellichick wouldn't win 4 SB's.

That could be said about Montana with Bill Walsh too.
