Nobody but the jealous haters are questioning anything. Just like nobody really questions Jerry Rice's 3 Super Bowls even though he admitted cheating and nobody really questions Denver's Super Bowls even though they were caught red handed deliberately hiding payments to players.
If there is a rule against it - literal or in spirit - then they're all cheaters. The 49ers also cheated when signing players they could not afford by giving them deals under the table that circumvented the salary cap. This gave them an increased advantage via unfair means to oppose the 'Boys ability to "threepeat" back in the '90s.
It is from an internal sense of justice that a lack of fairness imparts upon man's moral conscience (for those who still have it) that makes them "burn" over these things.All it does is give the haters something to burn over, which is rather quite enjoyable to watch.
Yes. The NFL as effectively a monopoly counts on the notion that people will forget and still watch their product despite any loss of integrity.This will be less than a footnote in history when people look at their dynasty.
