Did we just become best friends?

I don't know. Why would they send Garrett to the Mavs game to talk to Murray if that would be the case?

Maybe Garrett went to tell Demarco that the team was going in a different direction and just wanted to tell him in person. Same thing Jerry did to T.o.

Murray calling the Eagles doesn't bother me at all. He feels slighted the Cowboys didn't back up a truck full of money and one of his best friends (Bradford) just got traded there. I get it.

I'd pull my offer. You want to go that bad to a division rival? Go!

But it will be if Dallas doesn't give him what he wants. He would go to the eagles on purpose so he can play dallas twice year

He can't beat us all by himself. The Eagles just got rid of all their star players. I'm more worried about how the Cowboys replace him then what he does with them.

I would rather face Murray behind the Eagles OL.

Me too. I misread your first post. I thought you meant who would you rather HAVE, not face. I'm with you. I would rather face Demarco behind the Eagles Oline than McCoy. Demarco can be very pedestrian when the game plan is to stop Demarco and there's no QB to make a team pay for it (which is exactly what we saw against Arizona and what it would look like in Philly).

It's all about the years and the guaranteed money, 7 million a yr isn't bad if its voidable after two years.
Yep I've always felt this way. The money doesn't bother me that much, it's the years that would be me like more than 3 years. I feel like he probably has 3 really good years left and when that is done his contract will be done and he can go.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports free agent DeMarco Murray is expected to make a decision by Wednesday evening, and that the Raiders are believed to be offering the most money.

Oakland, Dallas, Philadelphia and Jacksonville are believed to be the four teams in the running. Yahoo's Charles Robinson reported Wednesday afternoon that Murray's "top choice" was to play for the Eagles. Reports have suggested the Cowboys have offered $5 million annually. Re-upping with the Cowboys makes by far the most sense from a football standpoint, but Murray has appeared quite peeved at Dallas' handling of his free agency.

Explain to me again, why in the world is Philly after DeMarco when they just signed Matthews?

Let someone else pick up Murray's second contract. Williams, Randle, and a draft pick are cheaper and younger.

Rappoport just said decision is expected tonight from Murray... Eagles are 'squarely in the market'. Dallas is expected to try to match any offer he gets from whomever he accepts.

Per NFL Network.

Actually my hunch is our line has been drawn in the sand. And it ain't good enough in Murray's eyes.
