Ummmm. I know AP isn't coming and long have said it was a real long shot. So not sure what your point is.

My only point is AP would be far more valuable to this team than Chaz Green.

Not for the money. You just can't ignore that.

I am not ignoring the money. But even if I had to pay AP 8 million a year for the next three years, he's still a better option than Green and far, far more likely to improve this team.

It's simply insane to try to argue a guy drafted to be a backup OT for at least 2 years would be more important that Peterson. Holy hell.

Willie McGinest just said on NFLN that Gregory weighed 246 or 248 when they filmed Game Changers.

Vikings are keeping Peterson. Don't know what our 3rd round pick has to do with him.

You don't get it. We can't afford him. You would be 100% correct if it wasn't for that pesky salary cap. Otherwise, we could just have resigned Murray. There's a reason we didn't. You're completely ignoring a huge part of the equation. Just because you want something doesn't make it possible.

Free is getting up there in years and Leary's knee is a time bomb.

We don't have a single young OL with any type of pedigree on the roster.

I'm not wild about the perceived value, but Green can play if he can stay healthy. Our scouts seem to have a tad better eye for OL talent than the magazine writers of late.

Plus, even if we could afford AD, Minnesota isn't remotely considering trading him for just a damn third.

I like have depth on the offensive line..............this guy can play multiple positions and could possibly replace Free or Leary in the future.

The fact that we are starting the 4th round and Ajayi is still available tells me his knee is jacked up way more than anybody was letting on. As far as RB goes, I think we are SOL getting a bellcow at this point. Anybody we draft now is probably not going to be that much better than what we already have on the roster.

Langford.

I seem to remember that we took a guy named Murray in the 4th and that turned out pretty well. Barber as well.

I am all for quality OL backups but in the 3rd? Doesn't make sense to me.

I think the goal is for this guy to be the eventual starter.
Most 3rd round picks of any kind don't walk in and start.
A few,but not many.
