I want to preface this by saying i have never been, nor will I ever bee a conspiracy theorist. I can't help but notice that the NFL has been against all things Dallas Cowboys recently. From the Dez no catch/catch, to the Hardy suspension to now the NFFC being cancelled one moth before it was scheduled to happen. Romo was right in his recent interview on The Fan; the timing of this is highly suspect.

The NFL had MONTHS to let Romo know he needed to change the venue because of some rules he didn't know about. What's even more curious is that The Lions and other organizations have events and activities on casino grounds but the NFL doesn't say anything about it. If I were Romo I would still have the event somewhere else on the same day, but don't associate it with the NFL. Romo should just throw a party and invite all of the players that were scheduled to come and still allow all the people who had bought tickets to come.

The reason I bring this up is because of this upcoming season. I would like to think that the NFL front office doesn't get directly involved in affecting teams performance and how well they do throughout the season. I also can't help but notice favoritism for certain teams throughout the league (Patriots being the Prime example). I love the sport of football and I love my Dallas Cowboys, but if the NFL doesn't start showing a move towards complete unbiased judgments towards teams and enforcing rules for EVERYONE, I feel it will lead to the downfall of the NFL.

Look at FIFA right now. Everyone has said for years that there was corruption at the top level in that sport, but no one was brave enough (until now) to do anything about it. That's part of the reason I don't watch soccer is because of the corruption, the refs missing blatant calls and that players flopping worse than any sport in the world. Look back to the women's world cup 4 years ago against Brazil, a Brazilian player faked an injury (to the point of being helped off on a stretcher!) to allow her team to set up a play. When as soon as she was off the field, she hopped right up like nothing was wrong. It ultimately back fired on them. It's acts like this, and like the ones the NFL has been pulling off lately, that lead to the integrity of the sport being questioned. Goodell has done NOTHING good for this sport. He's a laughing stock around the sports world and is seen as a puppet. He needs to be ousted right now.

Sorry for the long post. Those are just some thoughts I've been having lately. Thoughts guys?

Not a chance. A successful football team in Dallas means more eyes on NFL football and more money for the whole league, among lots of other good stuff.

Only Dallas and Washington were penalized cap space relative to the uncapped year.

The Erik Williams rule.

The Michael rule.

The Roy (Safety) Williams rule.

It's not just Cowboys fans that refer to those rules by the name of the player. It is common knowledge that those rules were put in place to limit those specific players.

The Catch and Hardy are minor compared to the other issues like the ones listed above.

Add in the " Helmet Rule" - Emmitt Smith

Hitting defenseless receiver ( may be wrong on this one ) Darren Woodson

When Goodell, Mara and Kraft, and even the Rooney's to an extent are involved and are running the show. The answer is YES. No doubt about it.

We will win the SB in spite of them.
I can't wait until Dez catches a TD to win the SB, acts as if he may drop it but pulls it up at the last minute...then goes to the camera throws up the X, points the ball to the camera...and says...NOW THAT IS A CATCH....

Well, the NFL Twitter account did troll Tony Romo yesterday.....

http://cowboysblog.***BANNED-URL***...tempts-to-troll-tony-romo-deletes-tweet.html/

Wow. Just wow! Talk about a bunch of horse manure. All that money spent on hotel expenses and flights by the fans. Unreal. Nice job NFL. Stay classy.

What does Romo's event have to do with the Cowboys?

Most fan bases think the nfl is out to get them or they think it favors others. Cowboy fans think they are out to get us and haters think they favor us. The pats think the nfl is out to get them. The haters think they show them favoritism. And on and on. No one is out to get us lol. It's laughable people actually believe this.

The Player named rules are a joke, they just happened to be "stars" Erik williams was not the only person doing what he was doing, its not like they are going to "name" rule after some scrub OL from Tampa Bay Bucs back then. The rules were given these "unofficial" names to give it more weight or more obvious examples the team happened to be successful at the time when theses issues arose.

The whole Rooney thing about owning casino's is a little hypocritical in my opinion.

I don't know but whenever I see your user name, I can't get those old commercials out of my head where it's like, "the touch, the feel of cotton... the fabric of our lives!"
